With a rig like that, why did he swerve, he could just drive right through them.

I'm going to buck the trend against animal thread pings and give this one a shot. Mule probably think it's a watse but I doe'nt. A tragedy like this deserves our attention,or elk
others will just ruminate about it.

Olson's Trucking of Rapid City was contracted for the cleanup which took two days to complete.

I'm thinking the only thing hauled away were 'empties.'

Obviously something must be done about these communist South Dakotan deer. I'm sure my brothers in arms will do the job.

A semi truck hauling several hundred 20-packs of Bud Light . . .

The contents of the truck were considered a total loss.

Not by me, it's not. Poofing that much Bud Light is a contribution to cultural renewal.

Goooooood truck!

"While not all of the bottles of beer were ruptured, Patrolman Birkley said Budweiser determined the beer as a total loss and condemned the entire batch, as it was not cost effective to sort through all of the broken bottles to find which ones could be salvaged...Olson's Trucking of Rapid City was contracted for the cleanup which took two days to complete."

Fixed their typo:

Olson's Trucking of Rapid City was contracted for the cleanup which took two days to complete consume.

I went by the site a couple of times late Thursday afternoon, after the truck itself was already gone. Once I saw the labels on the stacked cases, I knew it wasn't too much of a tragedy.

The original story the driver allegedly gave, according to my anonymous sources, before perfecting it for police, was that he dozed off, and over-corrected when the he hit the shoulder on the wrong side of the road. Skid marks go from wrong side shoulder, to right side shoulder, then sharply back to the wrong side & off the edge.

How did you happen to come across this? The Star is a tiny weekly, and just came out today locally.
