I think he's sane but suicidal, which automatically implies "insane" to most people.

I don't think Condoleezza is going to dance the hula for the man the way old Halfbright did.

"Aquariums of Pyongyang" is a must-read. One of the saddest books I've ever read.

I think he just stopped developing once his mind reached the stage of an 8 year old.

a remark that could anger Pyongyang's unpredictable ruler.

The left never gets tired of ringing their hands over what make America's enemies mad at us. They learned nothing from Reagan and the cold war. The hell with what they think. Let them fear angering us.

You Are Worthless Alec Baldwin

I was sent from planet Xiron to conquer the earth
I had a terrific plan -- I thought it would work
Tried to get the Earthlings all to kill each other you see
But it all went wrong and now I must decree...

You are worthless Alec Baldwin, you are worthless Alec Baldwin
You failed in every way and now my stock in you has fallen
Your career is stallin' and you're worthless Alec Baldwin
That's why I blew your head off and your children are all bawlin'

Planet Xiron is inhabited with Xipods like me
But also with Balmacs who are giant bees
The Xipods and Balmacs are at constant war
So we wanted a new home and that's what Earth was for

But you are worthless Alec Baldwin, you are worthless Alec Baldwin
You f-----d up my whole plan and now Xiron is smeared with Balmac pollen
Your garbage needs some haulin' and you're worthless Alec Baldwin
Now I must return home a failure -- I'm afraid the pit of Kryrok is callin'...

Bush met for about 40 minutes in the Oval Office on Monday with Kang Chol-Hwan, who spent time in a North Korean prison camp and wrote the book, "The Aquariums of Pyongyang: Ten Years In The North Korean Gulag."

"The president read the book, it is a compelling story. The president is very concerned about the human rights situation in North Korea," White House spokesman Scott McClellan said.

The author is now a journalist in South Korea.

S. Korean President Roh Moo-hyun lobbied so hard for a meeting with Bush and got only 45 minutes. However, a humble N. Korean defector spent 40 minutes with Bush. Speaks a volume about Bush's view.

Speaks a volume about Bush's view.

So it's wrong to draw attention to the human rights abuses in NK? The SK president got 45 minutes, seems long enough to discuss anything that needs to be said directly from one president to another.

Re #18

You got it completely upside down. I think it absolutely right that Bush dissed Roh, but embraced Kang.

Man, Roh may be popping blood vessels now.:-)
