It's interesting that FReepers care so deeply about MJ.

I cannot believe it!!! The first 3 counts regarding conspiracy, false imprisonment, and extortion weren't believable to me. The other 7 charges should have been a slam dunk.

The court system stinks, and every person who has been found guilty, or forced to plea bargain, should have their cases reviewed. MJ had child porn for chrissakes! He fed those boys "Jesus juice", aka alcohol, and got off. Look at the evidence posted on the Smoking Gun : ( This is BS!!!! I'd like to see a class action lawsuit happen for those who have been railroaded by disgruntled ex's.

I am afraid that no case, no amount of evidence, no video, no testimony was enough. It would not have made any difference. Michael Jackson simply was too famous, too influential, and too well connected to be convicted.

The evidence was strong and so was the case, but the game wasn't a contest. There was plenty of clear evidence that Jackson was guilty on several counts, the jury just didn't want to face those facts.

Mesereau made a mess of the case, but it didn't matter. Two other defense attorneys were fired, ...or bailed. They knew he was guilty. They should have had confidence in the shallowness and stupidity of California juries.

Proof that you can get away with anything if you a music celebrity or actor.

Back in the '60's when John Lennon said that the Beatles were greater than Jesus Christ or some such, in northern Alabama Beatles records were burned in bonfires. I wish this would happen as well to Jackson but it won't because our country no longer has principles, values and integrity.

Since I can't seem to get away from MJ today, I may as well put in my 2 cents worth. I haven't followed this trial a wit, except for the couple seconds it takes for me to change channels, but we knew that this was going to be the inevitable result. The system is rigged in favor of black celebrities (especially if they're rich). The prosecution has everything stacked against them, regardless of evidence.

I wonder how many parents are going to line up to sacrifice their children at the MJ altar for money... and you know there will be plenty.

I am disgusted by the jurors decision and even more disgusted with people in Times Square cheering at the verdict, reminded me of the OJ case.

The verdict is not surprising since it comes out of CA. Jackson's doings are part of an accepted "alternative lifestyle".

On the Hugh Hewit show, someone suggested that Saddam Husein should request a change of venue to CA. I agree. He would probably "walk" and get a lifetime pension to boot.

Theres a party in the old pedophile tonight..
The Homos and other pedophiles are jumping for joy..
Will make it much harder to convict of pedophilia in the future..

In Sharia Law(Muslims) it takes four EYE witnesses to even indite for rape.. let alone convict..
The slippery slope just got steeper..
Mexifornia is a pit...
