Just breaking...
I can put aside my personal beliefs.
It's the INTELLIGENCE part that this jury put away.
Some of the books they found in Jackson's home, coffee table books of young boys, naked, swimming, jumping into mountain pools, etc. This is homosexual porn. The other, racy magazines with nude women -- heterosexual, and Jackson's hitting on these kids before adolescence. (Hitting all the bases.)
Based on the evidence presented to the jury in court and the nature of the charges, none of it was reasonably convincing. The case revolved almost entirely around the claims of the accuser and if the jury didn't believe him, there was virtually nothing to hang their hats on.
In any criminal case, there will always some evidence of guilt - after all you don't get to trial without having some good reason to believe in the defendant's guilt. There simply wasn't enough evidence here to get a conviction.
"It's the INTELLIGENCE part that this jury put away."
*sigh*
Thanks for the correction.
You're right. Its unfair for us to sit here and criticize their decision.
But when juror after juror comes out and says they were ticked off by the victim's mother... and it influenced their not guilty verdict.
We are just human too.
"But he did not molest them"
You do not know this.
Seems like you could have bonded quite well with the Jackson jury. Same mindset, apparently.
Jesse says Michael might come out with a new persona; kind of a "Pedophilliac Rocker."
LOL!
that statement is totally inaccurate. the only thing one can say is that the prosecution FAILED TO PROVE that he molested them. the mere fact that it was not proven doesn't mean that it didn't happen.
I agree mara....but IMHO the anger is being directed at the wrong person.
Get po'd at the DA for taking what should have been a slam dunk case and botching it severly.
Yeah... MJ has no fear now.
OMG!
And people think Texans sound stupid........ ;^)
I cannot fault the DA. The DA bought a case to trial because that minor was victimized. That's what the State is supposed to do.
"Sneddon botched this one. The guy should be fired.:
Yes, Sneddon botched it. What I don't know, though is did he botch it by trying to prosecute without a good case, or is he really incompetent. From the bits and pieces I heard from the trial, I think the jury reached a correct decision based on what was given to them. I don't know about MJ's guilt or innocence as a result of all this. I vote Sneddon guilty.
