We are thinking too small. We need to find ways to making trade and travel easier while we define and defend a continental security perimeter.

Continental Security Perimeter: It’s way too late for that and don’t even get me started on Mexico:

Canadian Intelligence (CSIS) Director Jim Judd testified recently before the Senate committee reviewing Canada's anti-terrorism legislation, he noted there were now suspected terrorists in Canada that "have had no discernible previous link of any kind with the terrorist networks." Canadian intelligence experts believe that converts to Islam in the country are becoming a major source of Al-Qaeda combatants and pose a risk to security. An intelligence report from Canada's spy service, released to a daily said "there is a direct threat to Canada and Canadian interests from Al-Qaeda and related groups," and that those groups are attempting to expand their support in Canada. "Converts are highly prized by terrorist groups for their familiarity with the West and relative ease at moving through Western society," the recently declassified Canadian Security Intelligence Service report said.

The narcotrafficantes run Mexico. They killed the new police chief of Nuevo Laredo the SAME DAY he was hired.

And we're supposed to entrust our security to the Mexican government?

The terrorists who threaten us most are in the White House and the Capitol Building.

they have no shame. this socialist POS spelled it all out real plain didn't he? Americans had best get ready to open that wallet a little further... because we now have to make an equally prosperous country out of Mexico. the good Dr didn't say WHY that was our job, but then flaming socialists never have to give a reason for theiving from the productive.

glad to see them getting brazen enough to come out from under their rocks and put their stinking agenda on the table for all to see.

The focus today is on the new requirement for all citizens of the United States, Canada, Mexico, and Bermuda to have a passport to travel among our countries. It is intended to secure the homeland, but I question whether this approach will achieve the goal, and I fear that it will harm other U.S. interests and divert us from more effective paths toward securing our continent.

I stopped reading here. Treasonous crap!

I've known people who go to Mexico. They always carry extra cash in case they get stopped by Mexican police (for whatever reason), others have commented they don't go outside a resort area (for safety reasons). They claim if you get stopped, all you have to do is fork over some $, and we are to entrust this corrupt government/law enforcement system with our protection from terrorists? I don't think so!

Unbelievable, the whole time I was reading the story I'm thinking, is this really a true story or satire?

Someone with some sparkle in their eyes and a brain between their ears needs to ask these people just where in our Constitution is there wording about

North America's New Agenda
North American Free Trade Agreement
Security and Prosperity Partnership of North America
Permanent Tribunal on Trade and Investment
North American Investment Fund
Centers for North American Studies in the United States
North American Customs and Immigration Force
Department of Homeland Security
North American Council
North American Border Pass
Western Hemisphere Initiative
National Identification Card
North American Cooperative Security Act

I've read it about a dozen times and I'll swear that I haven't seen anything about these groups or ideas so far. Come to think of it I haven't seen anything about them in the federalist papers either. Hmmm, am I reading to fast?

It's not surprizing that only 30 comments have been made on this thread. Everybody seems more interested in the Michael Jackson verdict than treason from our elected leaders.

Surprised? I'm not because this is America, where the important things are dealt with first.

The U.S., Mexican, and Canadian governments remain zealous defenders of an outdated conception of sovereignty even though their citizens are ready for a new approach.

I believe this statement is a fabricated lie...Our current group of politicians are not defenders of our sovereignty and I'm convinced the majority of Americans want to keep The United States separate from any other country...

It is my hope that Jim Robinson will give us an Official Free Republic Position on this issue so we know where we stand...There are less than a handful of Federal Politicians who will stand with the Constitution...

The majority of Americns know that they live in the USA, and Mexicans, Canadians and Bermudians don't. Those lines on the map mean somethng.

USA first! The NWO's on it's own.

First of all, Robert Pastor should have no credibility in front of a congressional committee. He speaks of "North America" as a dreamy-eyed reality ... to him, "North America" has already been accomplished. He barely mentions the individual names of countries.

The motivation is clear: we are to mimic and compete with the EU. It's business and banking at the expense of national sovereignty.

Our administration is playing a waiting game with the public, hoping they can continue to refuse to enforce immigration law without arousing too much protest, until this "North America" is in place and there can be no turning back.

Maybe this "North American Community" plan explains why, even in time of war, our president won't invest a dime in improving our border fence

The fix is in.

By the time enough sheeple wake up, the invaders (and their Amerikan sympathizers) will simply outvote us.
