Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton turned furious and considered legal action after learning bestselling author Ed Klein would allege in a new book: Bill Clinton raped her -- resulting in the conception of daughter Chelsea Clinton!
"[Author] Klein is going to rot in hell for this," a well-placed source close to Hillary said over the weekend.

In the morning, the Clintons' room "looked like World War III. There are pillows and busted-up furniture all over the place," an unnamed source tells Klein.
Klein source claims Bill later learned Hillary was pregnant reading about it in the ARKANSAS GAZETTE.
"The fact that his wife didn't tell him that she was pregnant before she told a reporter doesn't seem to phase him one bit, because he says, 'Do you know what night that happened?"
"'No,' I say. 'When?"
"'It was Bermuda,' he says, 'And you were there!'"

This is just another calculated attempt to make "poor Hillary" the victim again of the "vast right wing conspiracy". the media is just following their script.

I find this claim very difficult to believe. Ed Klein is pretty reliable, but I think he spices up his books. He's written extensively about Jackie Kennedy Onassis, most of it accurate, some of it preposterous.
Come on guys, I dislike Clinton as much as anybody around here, but if this is supposed to be "evidence" of anything more than a drunken boast by an admittedly boorish fellow, it falls pretty far short of credible. Anybody who takes this too seriously runs the risk of looking like a Republican version of Howard Dean.

Think about this. I know it's hard, but imagine that Hillary is a human being. If this were someone in your family, even if the charges were true, the principles had dealt with it and made their peace with it. I think this is going too far. True or false, it's just unneeded. It harms a family, (dysfunctional as it may be), and helps no one.
This is why we can only get dolts and crooks for politicians in this country. Who else would put up with that kind of crap?

She's probably operating on the theory that if you're married to the rapist, it's not rape. It's her own version of "depends what the definition of 'is' is."
