Tom Cruise says girlfriend Katie Holmes "digs" the Church of Scientology. In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Cruise says the 26-year-old "Batman Begins" actress is curious about Scientology, founded by L. Ron Hubbard.

"Yes, absolutely. She digs it," the 42-year-old actor tells the magazine.

When asked if he's become more passionate about Scientology, Cruise says: "I've always been passionate about it. I've always talked about it when people asked about it."

He also confirmed there was a Scientology massage tent on the set of his upcoming film, "War of the Worlds."

What exactly is she supposed to say? It's like when your new Mother-in-Law introduces you to her favorite 'BBQ Liver Sandwich', ..... shut up, eat it, and tell her it's delicious. You can puke later.

Tom Cruise decided that if he couldn't father a child he would do the next best thing and marry one.

Now if I'm remembering correctly, Scientologists believe we're all actually ancient immaterial alien beings. So why is our devout Scientological Mr. Cruise making a movie in which New Jersey gets trashed by immaterial alien beings?

Maybe he's stupid.

I must be getting old -- for a second I thought the story was referring to this Holmes:

Nutcase, vacuous Hollywood actors with all the depth of a small puddle.

When asked by the interviewer if he's going to propose to Holmes, Cruise whispered, "It's gonna happen, man. It'll happen."

What's gonna happen is Cruise is gonna wrest the title of "Weirdest Celebrity With Questionable Sexual Orientation" from Michael Jackson if Jackson goes to jail or otherwise drops out of sight.

This sounds exactly like one of those gay movie stars of the 50's and his beard. I could be wrong, but if Cruise IS a pillow biter, I hope Holmes doesn't have an "arrangement" with him just so she can have a career boost.

It's rather sad to watch Cruise's decline. I used to really like him - he was so handsome and I really enjoyed his performances in Top Gun, A Few Good Men, and Interview with the Vampire. Now he's aging badly, his acting is becoming more hammy, and he's starting to show signs of serious mental inbalance in public. It's a shame. I hope someone knocks enough sense into Katie Holmes before she gets even more serious with Cruise and his space alien cult.

Does Katie sleep in his hyperbaric chamber, or do they have His and Hers?

And when does Cruise announce he's getting a chimp, and opening a Neverland-like carnival in his back yard, called "Hubbardland"?

That's why he's so excited about the movie. It's an ecstatic experience for him.

When are movie goers going to realize - that the ROLES don't make the man....nor do they reflect the man...

Actors are just that.......ACTORS.
