Afleet Alex has an impressive record and really did a magnificant job in the Preakness. I'm gonna have to go with him. Giacomo may do well, though - because he is a distance horse.

They're playing Sinatra, NY, NY. I remember hearing a different tune, the sidewalks of NY when I went to the Belmont, many years ago.

At least the Blemont people had the good sense to use a recording. The other presentations were bad this year.

Alex looks good. Winning like he did after almost falling really impressed me. I think Giacamo is out of the money in this one.
I probably should have gone against the favorite, but I think Alex can overcome the distance and toll the TC takes on a horse. Tough to root against him at this point.
I played a $20 Alex/Reverbate exacta and a $10 Alex/AP Arrow, Andromeda's Hero, Chekhov exacta's for $50 of rooting interest.
I hit a nice little 17-1 shot to win friday at Hollywood and a 9-1 shot leading an exact payout thursday. I work at a track, and occasionally play $20 one race I like on the day. Usually I stick to turf racing, but big races are always exciting to play. I'm on a little roll lately, but since it's not on the turf I probably am just giving $50 back today.

You're right of course. I like this prediction as well...:-)

Yea, they changed it for some reason. Mabe it was in rememberance of Sinatra. He was a real New York favorite

Zito has three in. I sense a spoiler coming. Pinpoint

And remember, they won't be Black Eyed Susans. Daisies with the center painted black. ;')
To: Irish Eyes
Just a feeling. They will gang up on Afleet Alex.
