Over and over and over again.
(Please don't do any of this psyops stuff in my area!)
Motorhead at 120dB - nothing could stand up to that!
That would be effective. But, how about Laurence Welk 24/7?
Matt Stone: "I read this article recently that when the Americans were storming Fallujah that some of the psyche-operations, where they go through and they play music to freak everybody out on big speakers in tanks, they actually played America: F--k yeah. And that completed my year - the joke was complete."

"I wonder what Eminem songs they play. :)"
I'm the real Zarquawi"
Anything from Dickie Goodman.
"Mr. Jaws. Mr Jaws."
Got to listen to "Rock the Casbah" RIGHT NOW!!! Great post!
I recall that idea from the movie Kellys Heroes when Oddball (Donald Sutherland) was describing how they had upgraded the Sherman tanks and they had added speakers to play music as they went into battle. Coppola copied it in Apocalypse Now with the speakers added to Hueys as they played the Ride of the Valkyries going into battle.
I can't recall the sex scene in the movie version between the puppets, having certain "depravities"...if you know what I mean.
Was the DVD expanded to include these displays?
From what I hear on my local streets, seems like the military should be able to get exactly what they want from any car audio store.........
There were rumors of sub/hypersonic devices, too.
As a former PSYOPer, I can only hope that the powers that be listen to the input from the Soldiers who are forced to use the current system. When we were asked to provide input on the current system (way back in the 90s) very few of the improvments we asked for showed up in the final model. Good system, but the article is right, too many wires and not enough tech.
IMHO
I came out of a Metallica concert once and literally could not hear normally spoken words for about a half-hour. And I was about half-way into the cheap seats. God knows what happened to front row patrons.
It was just the same as the movie - at least, as far as I recall the movie - on the copy I got from Walmart. Maybe there are different copies. But the only "depravity" on the DVD is the "it's not sex, it's trust" scene between the two guys towards the end, and it's the same as the movie. I don't know how much I can say here on FR, but you know the one I mean.
I think there are two versions of "Team America" out there. One is the same as the movie aired in theater, and the other has the extended puppet sex scene they had to edit to avoid the NC-17 rating. A guy I work with said he saw the unedited version, and from how he described it, I think I'll stick with the R version when I do buy the DVD.
The Walmart here (Sacramento) has the movie (R) version, apparently. And I agree; I haven't seen the NC-17 version, but the R version is strong enough for me, thank you very much.
Better yet, a female voice calling in Arabic proclaiming the muj's are effeminate weaklings, and she and her sisters are waiting to kick their butts (and put their soiled panties on their heads)
