A $3,000 reward is being offered for the safe return of a championship show dog stolen from San Francisco International Airport, SFO spokesman Mike McCarron said today.

Ryland, an 11-pound Bichon Frise, was en route from a Sacramento kennel to his new owner in Beijing when someone snatched him Tuesday from the United Airlines loading area of a cargo building. The dog is valued at $15,000.

I have a bichon. i love it dearly, more than anything. I am sure it's worth more than the $15,000 this dog is said to be worth. However, if someone wants to offer me a mere $10,000...well, we could talk.
