Three top assistants to Allegheny County Coroner Dr. Cyril H. Wecht resigned after the FBI questioned them about their work for Wecht's private businesses and the use of deputy coroners as chauffeurs, Wecht's attorney said.
Wecht -- whose private businesses are the focus of a federal grand jury investigation -- also reimbursed the county about $6,000 because one of the assistants used the county coroner's lab to prepare tissue samples for Wecht's private forensics practice, said his lawyer, David Armstrong.
The assistant is former chief histologist George Hollis, who was in charge of doing the same work for the county, Armstrong said. An FBI agent pressured Hollis to say that Wecht had ordered the private-business work be done at the coroner's office, Armstrong said.

Name Of Deceased: Something Polish.
i don't know. I never started a link track on that story.
I knew a police chief from Pittsburgh.
He always claimed that Wecht was dirty.
Payback time.
No, Wecht is in Alleghany County, which is in the western part of the state; Ray Gricar is from Centre County, which is in the central part of the state.
Thanks for the info on counties, still sounds as tho there needs to be more investigation.
Perhaps someone might post the photo of the x-ray of Ron Brown's skull. Although authorities claimed that the x-ray opaque particles which appear are due to a contamination of the x-ray cassette used, it seems statistically unlikely that all of nearly three dozen particles appear within the outlines of Brown's skull. None of the particles is outside that outline.
Wecht may be dirty, but he is even more arrogant. He's one of those who believes no one is as smart as he, not even close, and so he's entitled to do whatever he wants.
