Why is there anything still standing in Cuba? We always suffer with Florida each storm season, but it seems Cuba gets plastered pretty well as well.

It's going to cause a minor mess, that's for sure. The troubling thing isn't this storm. It's that it's already happening in early June.

Check out these historical models. Most on this map are early 1900's or late 1800's. Not a lot of June hurricanes from this position in recent years.
