PRICELESS MOVEON SCREW-UP

Moveon.org, the leftist political action committee that makes a lot of noise and raises a lot of money, but wins few elections, screwed up royally the other day. This is quite amusing...and it points out what happens when you don't observe the six P's....prior planning prevents p*** poor performance. So what did they do?

On June 1, Moveon.org decided it was time to protest Congressman Mike Rogers' ties to Tom DeLay at his office in his Michigan district. About 20 people gathered, armed with various financial records that showed contributions back and forth between Rogers and DeLay. That's right...the mean, evil Tom DeLay...this Rogers' character was in for quite a surprise.

The only problem? They had the wrong Mike Rogers. Not only was it the wrong Mike Rogers, but they were in the wrong state. They wanted Congressman Mike Rogers from Alabama. That's quite a haul from Lansing to Alabama.

No word if they made the trip to the right office.

Drudge had it, and it was in at least one newspaper. I don't hear much about MoveOn doing anything, so not hearing about this moronic move wouldn't surprise me, but it is being reported.

BTW MoveOn people, I hear this republican senator named Hillary Clinton is anti-abortion, you should go picket her office asap.

I thought that those of us on the right are supposed to be the dumb ones. This must be another one of Karl Rove's diabolical tricks.

For a screw-up of this magnitude, Brit Hume should use it on his show.

I've been very amused at how that stupid DeLay attack has COMPLETELY FLOPPED.

Hee Hee Hee

I wonder if there have been protests in front of Richard Pryor's house during the judicial confirmations process . . .

That's a great idea, you should email FOX in case they missed it. I will tune in tonight looking for him to struggle not to laugh while reporting this stupidity.

I've been very amused at how that stupid DeLay attack has COMPLETELY FLOPPED.

Tell me about it. The MSM isn't used to politicians who actually stand up to their initial barrage. In the olden times the accused party would have stepped down before the second week of the attacks. DeLay stared them down, and illustrated that the MSM's smear tactics are all set-up and no follow-through. The Editorial Boards of the WaPo and NY Times et al are pufferfish--they appear to be more powerful than they are. Plus they're poisonous too.

Fits in perfectly with the "guilty until proven innocent" folks from Moveon.org.

If they can't even get this right, then why on earth would we believe them when they declare DeLay guilty?

Did you ever watch "Dharma and Greg" where Dharma's drug burnout, hippie dad admitted that they were supposed to go to Washington, DC for some sort of rally and instead went to Washington state? Is he now running moveon.org?

In a related news story, Moveon.org sent a strongly worded letter condemning the War in Iraq to Nextel Cup driver Kurt Bush.
