Constitution Party Supports Border Integrity and the Minuteman Project
Constitution Party of Ohio ^

Posted on 06/07/2005 10:28:37 PM PDT by TERMINATTOR

The following resolution was passed by the delegates to the Constitution Party National Committee meeting held in Salt Lake City, Utah on April 28-30.

WHEREAS, the Constitution Party supports a return to sound immigration policy for the benefit of our nation, and all reasonable efforts to assist our already overburdened US Border Patrol are eagerly welcomed, we applaud the efforts of the leaders and workers within the "Minuteman Project" for their work in helping to secure the southern border of the United States.

THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that we express our appreciation of and support for their diligence in working with the local and state authorities, and the US Border Patrol, that are endeavoring to restore integrity to our Nation's southern border.

A protest or wasted vote with that party is a vote for Democrats.

I wasted my vote last time...And I voted for Bush, again...This time I'll vote for the candidate , Congress and President, that turn us around on globalism and the illegal invasion...Or, I'll stay at home...

80% of the population is against this illegal invasion...And a great many are against globalisation...How many do you think are taking it seriously enough to do something about it at the voting booth for a change???

I'd say the shoe is on the other foot now...It's you guys that vote the party that will give this one to the dems if you don't support a pro-America President...

Exactly right. Might I add the integrity of a sovereign (citizen only) vote is also at stake.

If there IS NO POLITICAL PRICE TO PAY at the ballot box, these KINGS will DO NOTHING. After all, keeping their job is what they are all about. But like someone said, talk is cheap.. True, that's why they won't let WORDS like CLOSE THE BORDERS leave their lips, they don't want to get burned being held to actually DO SOMETHING. 2006 is right around the corner, those that DO NOTHING, will be leaving office.. and it very well could be another DO NOTHING person will take their place. Party doesn't matter now, when the ones we elected to take control, won't do it. They simply won't act like a majority, so you have to wonder, why? Answer. They are ALL THE SAME. Time for a BIG DUMP and a GIANT change. By 2008, aliens may be voting in our elections, Fox is pushing that not.. Where does that stop in one be happy hemisphere of political integration?? If Mexico, why not Venzuela?? On and on.. It's very real.. people better pay attention to the impacts of political and economic full integration on the sovereignty of this country, or by 2008 it may be too damn late.

If WE DO NOTHING it will not change.

While I love Ann to death, she is flat out wrong with this quote. This argument is the same one people use for seat-belt laws. "If someone hurts themselves, we are all responsible." That reasoning leads to the complete societal control of every aspect of individual life so as not to harm society. The problem with "liv[ing] in a country that will not allow people to live with their own stupid decisions" is a problem of socialism, not stupid decisions. You correct the problem by removing the socialistic tendencies of the country, not by removing people's right to make stupid decisions.

In other words, you want the U.S. to have the economic outlook of the USSR in the early 80's.

That's one of the reasons I am becoming disillusioned with the Republican party. We are slouching toward this kind of system and they don't appear to be inclined to do anything to stop it.

Good morning.
"You shake your head and wonder why when they are in power they act like they are out of power."

It's difficult to hold on to the righteous indignation and hunger for power that drives the underdog after you gain control.

The DemocRATS are much better at being indignant and hungry for power than the Republicans are at the moment.

Re: #40 and #42. Good summation of the feelings of many of us, JJ.

I don't understand those conservatives who can't see what's happening to our country, those who continue to support the destructive policies that the Republicans (and Democrats) have brought down on us.

I have no such blind loyalty to any political party, and most of my conservative friends have jumped ship too.

Thank you JG...

I have no such blind loyalty to any political party,

Neither do I. Look what it's done for Democrats over 40 years.. Conservatives finally push the party over the top and what do they do?? Sell us all out.. If they didn't already have 'backup' votes in the bag, like the alien or non-citizen vote, they might actually give a ratszass.. That is why I believe 2006 will be a pivotal year in America's history.. or the last year of it's sovereignty.

Voters can MAKE it a pivotal year in America's history by saying NO to any open borders politicians, telling them to hit the road.

The majority of Americans are beginning to realize that we're being sold out to the highest bidder and we're being FORCED to pay for it. The phrase "taxation without representation" should be shouted from every corner of America.

"How is this a good thing?"

Free trade is a push for One World Government, one currency, and a minimum standard of living for the 99.9% of the world population that haven't set themselves up to rule in perpetuity.

Fair trade is another subject which is the one that should be on the table and isn't since it promotes prosperity to those that are smart, energetic, thinking, and have a good work ethic.

Actually, if you go to their site you will find that they've been Anti-Illegal Immigration since their founding. THat's why they got my vote last time.

The Constitution Party got my vote last time, too. Now I have re-registered from Republican Party to Constitution Party, and sent a message to the GOP that the reason for the change was Pres. Bush's insane open-broders illegal immigration policies, and requested the GOP to stop sending me requests for money.

I will agree with you when the politicians pass a law that says if you are a drug/alcohol abuser then you automatically opt out of ANY Free medical care no matter the source.

I think that people should be allowed to take whatever drugs they want so long as 2 conditions exist.

Nobody in my family gets hurt by their stupidity

Nobody in my family has to pay for their medical care caused by their stupidity.

Other than that, go for it.

The problem isn't that they make up about 1% of the population. The problem is that between the two of them, they make up about 5% of the population, and unfortunately, that's enough to torpedo a close election.

Yes and somehow Ann missed the first 130+ years of the history of this nation of states where we didn't have a federal WOD and suprisingly no major outbreaks, deaths, etc. were attributed to drug abuse.
