Remember they are in Aruba, which has exclusive jurisdiction in this case. They call the shots, but I truly believe all five are in this together. If you have any evidence that the three guys in the car have anything to do with the two guys at the hotel, by all means, share it with the rest of us. You've claimed that they are somehow connected. The onus is on you to provide evidence.

A young man went missing there in 1999, I believe. His parents were on TV this week. He was never found.
You're asking me to prove a negative. Could they be connected? Sure. Is there any evidence that they are connected? Not that I'm aware of.

I was shocked and angry when I heard that. He should get 25 years to life for that one. What an encouragement for others to do the same! Our judicial system is really rotten.
What if the guys each say "She's dead... but I didn't do it" when the truth is that she IS alive and being used as a sex slave, like this previous girl appears to have been?
With each passing day, the chances of finding her diminish. Like everyone else, I fear that she is dead but for some reason, I dont believe it in this case. I have read all of John Douglas' books on Sexual Homicide.This case though doesn't APPEAR to be about a pathological/sociopathic killer. We just dont have enough FACTS thanks to the Aruban authorities. So, like Natalees' parents, we wait.
something I found odd
whilst everyone at this thread were debating about the media report that the three guys at the bar were saying they all had sex with this girl, dropped her off and they saw her with these 2 security guards
I watched Scarborugh Country and Nancy Grace and this was not brought up at all on either program
both had the lawyer for one of the suspects on TV though
he had been the lawyer for both suspects but he said, there was a discrepnancy, inconsistency between their stories and he thought it best that both suspects have separate legal representation, now that too is interesting......of course he kept insisting both were innocent and they were not turning on one another but come on......
now any woman with a brain in her head has to know that the hotel staff at any hotel or resort whether it is Las Vegas, Hawaii, Florida, Deerhurst, ON, Aruba, Jamaica, or elsewhere are looking to get lucky and it doesn't matter where you are, men looking for sex all have a potential to take it, if it looks like they ain't going to get it, so no matter where you are, on a college campus or a Caribbean resort, you have to take certain actions to protect yourself unless you're looking for a party.......
in Cuba the guys are looking for green cards for christ sakes.....my sister went on a trip to Cuba and her friend claimed she was falling in love with one of the hotel employees and my sister kept telling her, get real he's looking for a way off the island.....
actually, I don't think they are "cleared" the reports from AP I read yesterday said the three are still "people of interest"....
it just means for now the cops don't have probable grounds to hold them, yet......
earlier in the thread, people had posted information from other forums where people that were on that trip or close to people who were on that trip posted information and in fact identified the one Dutch male as a Joran Van Der Sloot and that in fact, he and his friends have been hanging around with the group of girls, Natalee and her friends for most of the week so it may have been that Natalee didn't view these guys as strangers by that night....that doesn't preclude them from being pigs or rapists either though, but might explain her behaviour.....
it also seems from a few googles on my part that Joran is the son of a judge, and possibly his mother is a teacher, he is 18 years old and just graduated from high school himself and quite the young man about Aruba....I suspect he was viewed by Natalee and friends as quite a catch.....the other two guys I don't know......but I'm merely speculating wildy from a few tidbits of uncorroborated information as many of us are.......
in fact for all we know, maybe the fact the mother was a teacher, maybe she knew some of the adults on the trip and this kid was introduced to the girls.......more wild speculation, Jackie Collins, eat your heart out......
