Thank you for the pings, RaceBannon, Howlin and Mr. Silverback. I will ping my lists...
Thanks again, RaceBannon for the heads up on this thread.
kcvl: You've provided us some important info on this thread... thank you!
Please FReepmail me if you want on or off my miscellaneous ping list.
Please Freepmail me if you want on or off my infrequent Connecticut ping list.
Major outrage ping!
Ridiculous. Rebuild the Trade Center.
Never Forget. Ever.
Outrage ping!
bttt
Of course, I mean what better way is there to celebrate the struggle for freedom embodied by our fight against Islamo-fascism than by honoring a lifelong Communist and a man who wanted to sit down and negotiate with the Nazis?
(Prolonged eye roll.)
I heard the same report on Mark Levin yesterday afternoon-right before he interviewed Ms. Burlingame-and was just as infuriated.
Something needs to be done to prevent this abomination from occurring!

That's exactly what we need to do.
Thanks for using your pinger.
We can't just sit by and do nothing.
I heard Debra yesterday afternoon on our local conservative station. She is one sharp cookie, and is admittedly a Liberal and even SHE sees how whacked this is.
We need to keep this in the forefront, somehow.
Ms. Burlingame said to call/write/e-mail Pataki's office, Bloomberg's office as well as your local congressional rep.
Bumped your original FR thread.
God bless.
I agree. :-)
Michelle Malkin's new column.
"Desecration of Ground Zero"
(snip)Do we really want Ground Zero to be the playground of anti-war financiers, moral equivalence peddlers, and Guantanamo Bay alarmists? As Burlingame told me yesterday, "Ground Zero belongs to all the American people. If Ground Zero is lost, whether through negligence or malfeasance, it will be a loss that is felt for generations to come."
Richard Tofel, IFC president, is minimizing dissenters. In a statement, he told me that "we understand that a few do not" agree with the project's stated mission of promoting the "cause of freedom." The question is not whether most Americans support a monument to freedom, but whether they will stand by while saboteurs convert it into The Ultimate Guilt Complex. (snip)

When the time comes to break out the rifles and start killing liberals in earnest, I hope I meet you on the street.
I was just listening to Tony Snow and he had Debra Burlingame on. Tony is going to post all the contact information for all the people we need to let know how outraged we are about this.
I'll ping you once it's available.
