The Hidden Truth About Pro-Life Checks As Exposed on LifeTalk, May 2005 |
|
LifeChecks®
|
LifeChecks sells personal checks which feature pro-life sayings and images. Thousands of Americans use pro-life checks to help advance the pro-life cause. In addition, LifeChecks sells a variety of Christian checks, address labels, cards and other products. LifeChecks is owned by Custom Direct LLC.
|
|
|
|
|
Custom Direct also owns Message Products, which sells checks and other items that help fund and promote:
Planned Parenthood
The National Organization for Women
The American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU)
Various Gay and Lesbian Organizations
Message Products claims to "contribute $500,000 annually" to these and other "socially involved" groups.
Two other Custom Direct brands are The Check Gallery, which offers scripture checks and patriotic themes, and 4Checks.com, which markets its Planned Parenthood and pro-choice checks right along side pro-life checks.

The most important part of the article is the "$500,000" link. Offering products to both crowds is arguably not a big deal, but actively helping the baby-killers raise funds is quite a different thing.

Looks like I got fleeced. Just got my new order. They can still be what they are intended for though. What one does with the profits, I cannot control. Until Planned Parenthood is gone, money will somehow funnel in there from "legitimate" sources, intentionally or unintentionitely. (sp) The devil uses all kinds of ways to deter us from our goal.

If a person wants to, they can print their own checks on their computer or have a friend to do it. I get my bank to print mine at a great reduced price.

I agree with your statement, but one might do well to consider the effective impact of the situation. How many people are really going to scrutinize the checks and be affected to support pro-life stances vs. how much money will be directly supporting pro-abortion stances. This is just another way that evil wins by putting on a sham face of good.

We've been had before like this on our long distance telephone service. It's time for pro-life people to dig deeper into who they are patronizing.

I jumped over to Priests for Life just now because I remembered reading about LifeChecks in a 4 page flyer I picked up at a mass where one of their members was celebrant. I checked the .pdf of that document and they no longer list LifeChecks as their Pro-Life check source but rather, Promise Checks http://www.promisechecks.com/
I recently re-ordered LifeChecks, but will seek a refund via an outrage worded letter and cease using them immediately.
Thanks you very much for this information.
God Bless...

Probably just supports pro-aborts, but knows that pro-lifers have money too. So...the $$ of sin option looks like it to me.

You did perfectly with "intentionally" . . . here's a hint: just copy 'n' paste, and put an "un" in front of it, and you have its opposite. No need to worry about spelling!
