Virginia-based pro-Bush outfit VERACITOR have filmed a video for the controversial song "Warmongers of Discontent", which supports President Bush in the war on terror and the war in Iraq.
The clip shows "scenes of soldiers fighting in Fallujah clearly in danger, but clearly dominating the battlefield," according to a press release. "It pays homage to the men and women serving in the war supporting their cause, while attacking those who unjustly criticize this war undermining our troops' efforts."
The "Warmongers of Discontent" video is available for download at http://www.veracitor.com/WOD_web.wmv
VERACITOR was formed in 2003 as a power/thrash metal band with thought-provoking lyrics of a conservative nature. Topics range from the preservation of the Constitution, self-awareness and responsibility to the capture of Saddam Hussein.

Iced Earth are conservatives? Cool. They are my favorite Iron Maden ripoff band :)

Great - just what we need - more "entertainers" who think we still give a damn what they think.
SHUT UP AND SING.
(although their selling-out-for-profit appears to have fooled a few people on this thread...)

I read that they are to. Heard because they support the 2nd amendement. A lot of metal bands are conservative

The lyrics in the song are all directed towards images of Teddy Kennedy..."Don't bite the hand that free's you"

Don't despair. My son's band played the Warped Tour last summer (east of the Mississippi) and he's very conservative. He thinks most of those bands are opportunistic lamebrains. The Interns. On Nice Guy Records.

Ok. I heard it. Some parts of the music were quite good. Unfortunately, the whole track sounded more like a medley of different songs. They need me in their studio directing them and a few more weeks of work.

, but some of Metallica's songs seem very conservative. I think James Hetfield is conservative independent, and Lars Ulrich I've heard is lib but doesn't comment on American politics since he's Danish.

I know Lars is Danish, but is he actually a citizen of Denmark?

I will be looking into that.

Bumperoo!
There are quite a few heavy metal bands who are patriotic. Iced Earth, Slayer, and Metallica are three that come to mind immediately.
