He's eating the shrimp raw. I guess it's like sushi or something. People pay ridiculous amounts of money for raw fish. I've always considered raw fish to be one of those things that you eat when you are lost at sea and the only thing left in the boat is a can of brussel sprouts.

Hey, I love brussels sprouts, even if the country's turned into a bunch of weasels. And as far as I'm concerned, having Sushi on the menu is nothing more than justification for charging $20 for a plate of bait!

Never in my life have I seen $200 shrimp.

I think most of the expense is in the elaborate preparation.

Maybe these prices reflect the expense of the heavily-armed security guards required to make sure the food makes it through the countryside full of starving peasants to Kim's table.
