Looks impressive, what kind is it?
Really? I didn't know. With credentials like that, Kerry should join Bill Clinton in reforming the UN.
Where/when did Nader serve?
Evidently Whitman had an guest editorial in the NYSlimes saying that the day of the 'compromise' will be a turning point in history. Marking the end of the right wing power.
Thanks, rodguy. I turned on MTP and some guys were playing tennis so I very much appreciate the recap.
Ed Nixon said he was "about half way through" writing his book. I intend to read that one too. (I never knew that he is a geologist.)
Fred Barnes said Felt whould have gone to Congress. Sounds reasonable to me. Bill Kristol the Federal prosecutors deserve the credit not the Washington Post.
You're right the whole bit has to pat a feel to it. Like it was orchestrated.
Newsmax is reporting Biden saying Dean does NOT speak for him, nor other Democrats he knows. Anyone watching This Week?
People are hungry for freedom all over the world....and it's Bush's fault.
No problem. Again, that was only the first 30 minutes, I missed the last 20.
Which it is. Won't work.
He obviously is not aware of current events less than 2 weeks ago Britain sent out some special troops for that purpose and I am certain you have specialist trainers out there too.
That sounds good seeing as Dean is Chairman of the Party don't they realise the person they appoint as the Chair is considered one of the major official spokesmen for their party
Well here's another vignette.
Husband was also a liberal and he too voted for McGovern.
What can I say? We both were horrifically affected by Vietnam. I lost a husband to Canada for it and HE was scared of being drafted. Neither one of us were necessarily against the war and definitely not unpatriotic. And in retrospect we see that Vietnam was a war ill-fought and with little public sympathy.
Anyway, husband feels the same way about Watergate. "I'm no great fan of Nixon," he said the other day. "But I see now, especially after Bill Clinton, how it was a trumped up bunch of crap by the Democrats to bring down a Republican president.
Hey, I don't think it's resonating. No matter how "dangerous" Woodward and Bernstein tell me those times were, go on, there was no danger. Both of us former liberals and hippies have been laughing all week at those who fooled us.
Nixon was paranoid is all. And like they say, sometimes they really ARE out to get you.
He could have been sanctioned. He was a very popularly elected president. At the time the public knew no better although give me credit, I was suspicious.
Yeah, I think this was a pre-planned thing to restore credibility of the Lamestream Media.
It ain't working. Too many Internet pundits and conservative commentators are here to flesh out the big brouhaha Woodward and Bernstein made of it.
In my gut, and judging by my barometer, comments in the beauty shop, it ain't working. I think the MSM stepped on its own foot.
snugs, being a good Democrat means never letting facts get in the way of off-the-wall claims or anti-military rhetoric.
FINALLY! The post that I have been looking for. Sometimes it's hard to get thru the "I don't like that guy or that guy " comments for some more helpful takes. Now I know to tune into Fox News Sunday.
I'll take it further: Kerry is the Politically Inappropriate Swampbottomdwelling Senator prototype. Subliminal message with the initials TOTALLY INTENDED.
