Denver To Report Illegal Immigrant Inmates To Federal Officials
City Changes Policy After Death Of Donnie Young
DENVER -- Denver has decided to provide immigration officials with a weekly list of all foreign-born inmates held in city jails.
Denver Safety Manager Al LaCabe said the city changed the reporting system so the information is provided to the U.S. Immigration and Custom Enforcement agency on a more regular basis.
Immigration officials always had access to the information -- but officials had to request the names of the foreign inmates.LaCabe said the bottom line is that city officials are trying to do better assist immigration officials by prioritizing which inmates should be investigated.
The policy was scrutinized after the death of Denver police Detective Donald Young, who was allegedly shot by an illegal immigrant who had previously been stopped by Denver police three times for traffic violations.
The search for Raul Garcia-Gomez continues, although not as intensely as it once did. If you have information about his whereabouts call CrimeStoppers at (720) 913-STOP or (720) 913-7867. There is a $100,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of Garcia-Gomez.

Excellent news. Thanks.
It's about time and it's a start. Now about this Sanctuary Crap!
I noticed the GOOBER Viewing hole in the rear window.
Now ain't that so sweet?
even cop-killing by illegals didn't turn around the city of LA.
Nah, they'll revert to their usual pro-illegal stance once the current flap has blown over. This is merely interim cover.
Are they going to report all the, "EMPLOYERS ON THE CHEAP R-US" scum bags hiring the illegals. That would show the city is serious, otherwise, just so much window dressing and deflection.
