Contact the Minority Office

Thank you for your interest in our work on the Committee on the Judiciary. I am seeking information regarding the charges made in the so-called “Downing Street Minutes” that there was a secret agreement between the U.S. and the U..K to invade Iraq by the summer of 2002, well before the president sought congressional authority. Please provide us with any information or leads you might have regarding such a secret pre-war deal, or other efforts to manipulate intelligence or provoke a response to justify war. We will treat any information provided on this site as confidential. Thank you for your assistance in this important matter.

LMFAO, I pray to god they go forward with this. Democrats really are some of the dumbest people on the face of this earth, if they think this will get them power back they are sorely mistaken.

When I heard the news last week about the identity of deep throat, I knew it was a signal from the media as to what they were going to do next. Kerry and conyer's actions show where the momentum is going.

I'll just sit back with a big bowl of popcorn and laugh...

I agree. The GOP, GW and Frist should tell these rascals in no uncertain terms to butt out. Or lose committe chairmanships, pork spending, party backing at election time, etc.

WHEN REPUBLICANS TURN ON THE PRESIDENT'S BACK, SOCIALISTS ARE ENCOURAGED!

And these RINOs are the ones who will determine just how far this laughable impeachment story goes.

The MSM so desperately wants to be able to run with this story - they're snorting and champing at the gate to be let loose. But the case for impeachment in this memo is so weak that they can never make it fly, in the wake of Jayson Blair, the forged TANG memos, the bogus Koran flushing story, etc.

UNLESS...

They can get some support for pursuing it outside the fever swamps of DU, Kieth Olbermann, Chris Matthews, Daily Kos and the Congressional moonbat brigade. The exact kind of support they could get if Lindsey Graham or John McCain or one of the others were to stand up and say, "My esteemed colleague from Massachussetts raises some troubling issues here, and I think we should look into them and call on the White House to come clean."

If that happens, and I expect it will, then get ready for a weeks-long media feeding frenzy, with them ending up demanding impeachment despite a complete lack of a real case.

Someone should open a "Conyers Tipline" for the express purpose of digging up dirt on him, exposing and disgracing him. If successful, maybe a franchise could be started, with offices in various states devoted to torpedoing various 'Rats.

Me to Conyers: Shut up, you babbling old fool!

Stronger words are not needed when simple ones are so accurate. He's an embarassment.

Nah. There are always going to be clowns like Kerry and Conyers, Al Franken and Michael Moore, Clinton and Gore. Enough of the population are fools and I don't see that changing any time soon.

Interestingly, there is no major outlet interested in quoting Kerry on this. All I could find were:

--French guy who's mad at Bush but madder at Kerry for sitting on his thumbs too long on this "important issue"
--Yahoo news only lists Al Jazeera and another Muslim site
--Someone that wants Kerry to run for president again
--Dude who says, "apparently the American People are rallying behind John Conyers' bold leadership in Congress."

one says, "The Boston Globe published an article by Ralph Nader, Tuesday, in which Nader also called for President Bush's impeachment. The story is being carried on Michael Moore's website and the Democratic Underground." woohoo!

Excuse me, but please don't refer to Conyers as "DemoClown" since it will distract from my attempt to tag Rep. Charles Rangel with the nickname "Gargles the Clown."

I have been calling this slow-talking, rambling nincompoop "Drooling John" since 1998, when he and the likes of Schumcky Chuckie, Bahney Fwank and Baby Bob Wexler vilified Ken Starr.

Maybe there'll be a rally and John Kerry will throw his Senate pay stubs away this time. After all, he voted for war.

Your attempt to tag Rangel has succeeded with this New Yorker, at least. I will never see or hear him again without thinking of that!

No Conyers is not senile. I watched on CSPAN his rogue kangeroo hearing of the usual suspects on the conservative takeover of the media, that was quite fascinating. He handled it well. I hope I am as facile at 80, and indeed look as fit. I have well founded doubts about the latter.

"Seriously, don't these people remember how Clinton and their own party leaders continuosly refered to Saddam as a grave threat to this country BEFORE Bush took office??? They passed a bill in 1998 authorizing the OVERTHROW of Saddam's government!!"

If anyone has any links to these events, they would be really good information for Rep. Conyers. Don't you think?
