DES MOINES, IA - Rep. Steve King, R- Iowa, called Friday for deploying the military to seal the borders against illegal immigration, coupled with new financial penalties for companies that hire illegals.

"The destination of America is going to be shaped alot by immigration policy," said King, who said he will introduce legislation "in the next several weeks."

"Bush has signed a law prohibiting an illegal immigrant from receiving benefits due to his/her unauthorized status in the U.S. No illegal is dipping into the public coffers"

Bwahahahahahahaha! Are you a lunatic, or a bald faced liar? No illegal is dipping into the public coffers? Are you on drugs? Or a Bush administration stoodge?

"Second, guest worker proposals, such as President Bush’s plan, are not amnesty programs."

Hooohahahahaha!!! There's a point where statements are so absurd that it isn't even worth the spittle to rebut them.

"Here's a little quiz I have found useful in outing the FOQNA "

Can you tell me what FOQNA means, and FROBLs for that matter? The pro-illegal trolls often seem to be Republican party hacks, or am I mistaken?

When you aren't wandering through St. Peter's cathedral tripping over and getting blessed by future Popes, or trying to convince FReepers that it is impossible to have a secure southern border, while calling them child molesters, what do you do for kicks?

Please note that I didn't say it was impossible.

I said it was going to take a lot of manpower, a lot of money, and a lot of hard work.

Unfortunately, too many people are unwilling to do the last, so the first two will never show up.

And Representative King has been part of the problem facing the Army in the past decade: too many missions for too few troops. Now he wants to add another mission--but not any troops. He's another guy who talks much, does little, and isn't willing to do hard work.

Get back to me when he proposes adding five divisions to the US Army, m'kay?

"In jest I asked the poster "BeHOldAPaleHorse" if he hires illegal aliens."

My response contained exactly the same amount of jest as your question.

Uhmm...more evidence you don't have any idea what you're spouting. Congressman King was only elected four years ago, and is only now beginning to get traction in the body. No one delivers like he does for the conservative cause, or outworks him.

You don't know squat.

Get back to me when he proposes adding five divisions to the US Army, m'kay?

Get back to me when you have something other than delusional red herrings and arrogant and insulting rantings to offer FReepers.

Oh, it takes four whole years for someone to SAY something in DC, let alone actually attempt to DO something? And even then, they can't be bothered to SAY anything about the overworked and undermanned Army, even as they propose adding another mission?

OK, by your reasoning, and what you accept as good performance, we're doomed.

I guess we'll see what the moderator thinks. In my opinion your jest was perverted and way over the top. You should go for that. I wonder if you would have said that in front of children? My jest would have been just fine for any age group.

Yup, Free Republic debate technique #3,389: if you cannot defeat your opponent with facts and logic, whine to the moderator to get him banned. The downside is that if it doesn't work, you look pathetic.

"My jest would have been just fine for any age group."

I see calumny is just fine with you, as long as you're not on the receiving end.

If you think calling me a sodomite is the same as asking you a simple question as to whether you hire illegals are on par than you are very sick person. I think everybody can clearly see this but you. You seem really demented to me, maybe your sick. Not sure.

I am going to work to get you barred from this site. If I fail then it will be clear that what you said is OK with Jim et al. I really can't see that.

huge manpower increases that would be required for the military to perform this mission

Paid for easily with one year's bill for supporting illegal aliens in California. The terrorists are IN WASHINGTON, and unfortunately we were tricked into electing them.

"Paid for easily with one year's bill for supporting illegal aliens in California."

Sure, no problem.

Except for the matter of actually recruiting the troops, who aren't enlisting fast enough to meet the current manpower needs, let alone the additional manpower needed for this mission.

"The terrorists are IN WASHINGTON, and unfortunately we were tricked into electing them."

So when is Representative King going to actually propose such an increase in manpower? Or is he just another one of those terrorists you're talking about, along with Tom Tancredo (who, like King, has NOT proposed adding manpower to the Army to support a large-scale commitment to the border)?

Talk is cheap, especially from a member of Congress.

"coupled with new financial penalties for companies that hire illegals."

Companies which hire illegal invaders should be put out of business. Any fines will be inconsequential and written off as operating expenses.
