Welsh singing star Charlotte Church branded US President George Bush "a right weirdo" and opera legend Pavarotti a "big fat diva", it has been reported.
The singer took a swipe at the famous men during an appearance on Glasgow-based Clyde 1 radio to promote her new single, Crazy Chick.
Church, 19, said gaffe-prone Bush had no idea where Wales was when she met him after performing for outgoing President Bill Clinton in Washington in 2000.
(Denny Crane: "Sometimes you can only look for answers from God and failing that... and Fox News".)

You're not fooling anybody - that ain't Welsh. Hell, I count ten vowels (not counting "y").
The "World Druid Federation" is about to launch a Coup D'Etat on the Welsh Authorities I have heard...
The president was all over the U.K. when he was a teenager, he knows where Wales is.
Im part Welsh but am surprised how the biggest biAtches come from there (Catherine Zeta)
Cameras lie a lot and nobody takes ten good pictures out of ten. This one seems more realistic:

Actually she is getting more cowlike every day
'I'm a natural fat girl!' - Charlotte May 12 2005
Karen Price, Western Mail
CHARLOTTE CHURCH has opened her heart about her body image, her failed relationships and her new-found love for rugby hero Gavin Henson.
Charlotte's latest series of photographs show her looking at her best yet but she says she's not obsessed about her looks.
"I've never dieted in my life. I do love a good curry and a bacon fry-up. I'm a natural fat girl"
Teenage opera star Charlotte Church has refused a role in the Hollywood movie Phantom of the Opera after bosses told her she would have to lose weight.....
"Yeah, my arse is a bit big but I'm happy with myself. As long as I can sing it doesn't matter about the fame, it's disposable."

Why would anyone even care what this child thinks ?
Shut up and sing angel stay the hell away from the pooperrottenzy and the press or you will end up like an actress drama queen not knowing the difference between real life and fantasy or i guess maybe because you can sing your "special" ?
She's the flipping wh0re of babylon to me
Her vile disgusting comments shortly after 9/11:
Mourners from the earlier disaster are also dished. I went to ground zero just as an ordinary person, she announces, as if a red carpet might have been laid amid the body bags. It was awful, people taking debris to sell. They were really rowdy, climbing on police cars to get pictures. Everyone there has to relate themselves to it. They are like (American accent), Yeah, my neighbours dogs owners sisters dog was involved, but he got out just in time. It was a bit sick. People overdramatise and lose perspective. Gulp. Even firemen, revered in New York as modern-day gladiators, are put down: They went from here in society to celebrities. They are even invited here to present television awards, which I just dont agree with. http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/fr/573145/posts
I hope she balloons to 500 lbs.
Van the man?
I do think the President knows where Wales is. He either didn't say it or was joking.
Don't forget Catherine Zeta Jones.
Oh my God.. BOTH OF EM...
I have been a Van fan since the days of Them and g-l-o-r-i-eee-yahhhh (I was 12) and I am still buying his 45's, er, Albums , four tracks , casettes, OK! CD's
I started to make one point in that post, but wandered off in the middle of it & ended up making another. lol
Asking a young person a question you believe they will be able to answer is common polite chit chat. Asking someone where the place they live is located is an invitation for them to tell you about the place. A silly young person might not know this & could assume that the question means that the adult doesn't already know the answer to the question they asked.
About twenty years ago, my FIL taught my son (age 3 or 4) that the capital of Afghanistan was Kabul. Then when there was company around he'd ask the boy what it was. When the young child knew the correct answer it always impressed the adults hearing the exchange. The reaction of the adults confirmed to the child that he was brilliant.
I think the President knew where it is too. Would she have been even more offended if she had known that he was most likely treating her as a child? lol Meanwhile, she liked Clinton, as he prolly treated her as a potential opportunity.
Finally, here is where I wandered off track. Most people around the world are able to find the US on a map. They assume that since they know where our country is, we are stupid if we don't know where their country is.
If you were ever confronted with a situation like that, you would prolly be able to pull off something that would challenge most of the rest of us. You could look them square in the eye & ask them to tell you where some obscure country was, selecting a place far away from their homeland.
I do not believe this. President Bush is very well educated: prep school, Yale, Harvard. There is a difference between mispronouncing a word and thinking that Wales is a state.
