That was a bad move on their part. Mesereau should have told them to stay away altogether. Who knows if they would have listened to him.

"There is no way in hades that a California jury will convict a black celebrity!"
Yeah, but what about Michael Jackson?

I wish I was right........but maybe you're right; you know, juries now want to at least give the impression of doing the right thing. :-)

"Didn't they prove that the kids opened up the locked cabinet and helped themselves without permission? ANd that no alcohol was given to the kids on the plane...only MJ?"
I recall the testimony being that he (MJ) put alcohol in coke cans and called it Jesus juice.

Don't believe the jury is working this weekend but I do know that they're not sequestered.
To: Howlin
I think it will be a quick verdict, because the jury is tired of hearing about the sordid details and wants to go home and take long showers and forget they ever heard of this guy.
I also think the verdict will be guilty. He doesn't have an OJ jury, and he isn't a sympathetic character.
To: Howlin
At a minimum it needs to find him guitly of providing booze to minors and possessing child porn. Those two convictions plus the reckless cosmetic surgery warrant should get him at least some jail time.

I always wonder how many jurors go into deliberations with their minds already made up.
I wonder how many minds can be changed in a closing argument, really.
You could be right in it being quick if the jury thinks he's as sick as the rest of us do.

Did you ever work for CBS News?
I either did or I didn't. Likewise, I may or may not. Here's an expert analysis from CNN:

I wonder that myself. I was called to jury duty not long ago; it turned out to be a cocaine selling case; when they asked me if I thought I could be open minded and fair, I said no........LOL. I was excused.
But, hey, I was honest! What if I had stayed on the jury? From seeing me post around FR, do you think I could "sway" a jury? :-)

reporters seem to think they will come up with verdict today. My guess is a tampered jury.

I think that he will be found Guilty and...... he will not be present during the reading of the verdict. Instead, he will be well on his way to some Country that will refuse to allow for his extradition. I heard they asked him to be there within 10 minutes at all times now. Is there a weekend break? Is there any time for him to escape? What about if he is convicted? Is he taken away in cuffs right then?
