I wonder that myself. I was called to jury duty not long ago; it turned out to be a cocaine selling case; when they asked me if I thought I could be open minded and fair, I said no........LOL. I was excused.

But, hey, I was honest! What if I had stayed on the jury? From seeing me post around FR, do you think I could "sway" a jury? :-)

That reminds me of an old joke. If you're asked if you would make a good juror, you can say: "Of course! I can spot a guilty person (snap) just like that."

In ypu opinion, what would be the effect on the jury if, over the weekend, MJ tried to kill himself via an overdose and was hospitalized..There is NO way in hell the jury wouldn't NOT know about it over the weekend. great way to "tamper" with the jury..try for a sympathy aquittal.. I thinks it's 4:1 he does it..

Good one. My boyfriend from H.S.'s mom did a similar thing, it happened that defendant was black and they asked her if she was predjudiced, she said "Yes"- "Your dismissed" LOL! Sadly, just so happens though, she was being honest as well.
