Honor thy Koran
The Washington Times ^ | June 3, 2005 | Guy Taylor

U.S. NAVAL BASE GUANTANAMO BAY, Cuba -- The senior military commander of the prison camp here yesterday voiced "frustration" that journalists and human rights organizations such as Amnesty International unfairly portray the military's handling of terror suspects. "There is occasionally a sense of frustration," said Army Brig. Gen. Jay Hood. The challenge, he said, comes not from questions asked by reporters, but rather that the military's "openness and willingness" to work with the press is often dismissed by "reporters that have not bothered to come here and look for themselves."

In a very few short years to come the idiotcy of all this will become painfully clear.

The Koran is not just a holy book, it is the Constitution of Saudi Arabia!!!

When will Americans finally come to terms with the realization that the religios aspect of Islam is only a small part of this "way of life"?

If you have no read yet, I have several entries concerning this posted both here and on my blog.

that the military's "openness and willingness" to work with the press is often dismissed

Here's a question: Why are we so open and willing to work with the press about Gitmo? For one thing, it adds an air of legitimacy to their ridiculous accusations. The detainees at Gitmo are the worst scum alive and the press, Amnesty International, etc. would have you believe that we are depriving some "peaceful Moslems" of their rights there. Why doesn't the military and the administration tell the press to "get lost" and actually show some damn backbone?

Amen, you're right on the money. Our military has become overrun with "political correctness" itself. If the current military policiy of appeasement of the mainstream media was in place from 1941-45, we'd be speaking German and Japanese right now.

The day this happens will be the first step toward winning the war on terrorism.  Until that day, we are just spinning our wheels while our military tries in vain to control a situation with both hands tied behind their back.

The Koran is a murder manual. It's only proper use is for starting fires or perhaps cleaning up spills.

The media, by which I mean the predominate leftist scum who write and present their version of "news", have an agenda to defeat the US in the present war for survival.

On FrontPage yesterday was an excellent article detailing how the left only supported the US during WWII because the homeland of the left, the Soviet Union, was fighting the same enemy as the US was. In the years prior to WWII, the American left was every bit as treasonous as it is now, and indeed has been since 1945.

The home of treason and sedition in the US has been the Democrat Party for 140 years and more. From James Buchanan enabling secessionists to seize Federal property prior to the Civil War, to the "Peace Democrats" ("Copperheads") who were undermining the Union war effort....to the Democrat congress of 1871 that cut military pay back to the 1858 pay scale ($13.00 a month for a private of Infantry, down from $16.00 in the pay scale of 1864)....to the socialists and communists who joined the Democrats in the 1920's....the Wallace-ites of the '40's who referred to their desire for communism as being "Liberals in a hurry," and who to this day claim that Soviet spy Alger Hiss was framed.....the radicals and traitors who undermined the American effort in Vietnam and earlier in Korea....the history of the Democrat Party is rife with treason, sedition and defeatism. The only thing they are willing to fight for is power and to bring down the Constitutional government of the United States.

The predominate media are eighty to ninety percent Democrat, so it should not be surprising that they are hot to make conditions in Guantanamo Bay resemble Siberia (I doubt that the Soviets ever provided religiously prepared meals and reading material to their slaves.....and someone once said that in the gulag, the lucky ones were shot right away), and it should equally not surprising that the predominate media adhere to the enemies of the United States, and disseminate that enemy's propaganda.

The only real solution is to get people with courage into office, as opposed to the bunch of ball-less wonders that are in there now. We need elected officials who are willing and prepared to clean out the traitors in the bureaucracy, prosecute scum like Michael Isikoff for sedition, and force the Democrats to own up to their treasonous nature. Until that all happens, winning this war will be very difficult.

You can't defeat the enemy without until you destroy the enemy within.
