You are correct. The left has been winning all over the place.
It is similar to calling a decrease in the rate of increase a cut when it comes to government spending.
Republicans supposedly control the branches of the federal government, but the democrats keep getting things their way.

It seems to me that those in the "center" are nothing more than people afraid to take a position on something and instead try to set themselves from everyone else as being the "reasonable" ones or people for "fairness."
