I just read on another forum that Bill Clinton was expelled from Oxford. I have done a search, but have found nothing. According to his bio(s), Clinton graduated from Georgetown, attended Oxford, and graduated from Yale. Does anybody have a link to the story regarding his "expulsion"? Did it have to do with the Eileen Wellstone incident (sexual assault allegation)?
I wonder what the alleged smartest (womyn) in the world has to hide? She is not that smart, some people are too scared to stand up to the B'atch.NSNR
Clinton did not earn a degree at Oxford, which is very unusual for a Rhodes Scholar. The overwhelming majority of Rhodes Scholars take a Master's Degree at the end of their studies there.
As earlier commenters have suggested, Clinton was not expelled in any formal sense, or you would have known about it. But expulsions from university are quite rare, typically occurring when a student not only has done grievous wrongs but also has done them so as to embarrass his college or the University. Less-well-publicized infractions can be dealt with by discouraging the student from continuing his course of studies, blah blah.
As to whether the latter sort of thing happened to Clinton, I have no idea. This reprinted Washington Times article from a year ago ( http://www.papillonsartpalace.com/micssing.htm ) repeats that a fellow student of his at Oxford accused him of sexually assaulting her at a pub; the guy who's hosting the reprinted article adds his opinion (?) that it was this accusation that led to Clinton's being "quietly expelled."
Quite the adorable couple! UGH!
There was apparently a fair amount of deals. The school had to bring in someone to talk the girl out of charging the guy. My guess is that some money was required in some fashion...which the school probably paid out of their own funding. Bill probably was told not to come back after the entire episode. The amusing thing here...is that the media never ever went back to England to quiz the whole episode. Yet, the KGB, British Secret Service, and almost every national security agency in the western world knew of the whole episode...and had their own folder on the guy. And the later years? My guess is that there were pic's of him with various women and details on his females. Its amusing that Chirac knows more dirt on Bill Clinton than the US national media.
What does Miss Wellstone have to say about this? That should be exactly where it ends.
"These accusations are just another example of the vast right wing conspiracy".....

Is there any utopian haven in a big city?
The records have never been released. All clinton's academic records and medical records are sealed, and "investigative reporters have shown no interest in ferreting them out.
He may have been quietly dismissed for rape. He may have been dismissed for not doing any work. He seems to have spent a good deal of time in London organizing anti-Vietnam rallies rather than studying.
After one semester at Oxford, clinton went on a European tour, including a lengthy visit to the Soviet Union, presumably with the aid and approval of the KGB and probably the recommendation of his American political connections. It may be that he simply left Oxford and never went back, having found more interesting things to do.
In any case, he took the money for a Rhodes Scholarship but never bothered to take his degree. Evidently he was an annointed favorite of Senator Fulbright, who nominated him for the scholarship.
