Throw them off GitMo onto cuban soil and let Castro deal with them.

Well, I guess now that the Michael Jackson case is winding down, Greta, Nancy, Larry and Court TV will all need something else to focus on. This should keep them busy.

Not soldiers
Not Citizens
Not interested in anything but killing Americans
No lawyers
No Rights
No Way!
So, where is the federal injunction preventing the 'lawyahs' from going to GitMo? Why aren't they all rushing to Leavenworth? Isn't there a federal law against US Citizens traveling to Cuba? Are they bringing secret messages back like the 'lawyah' from NY that was convicted? Being a 'lawyah' does not grant you "immunity with impunity"
They go there, they should join the Gitmo population -- FOR GOOD!

God have mercy on these lawyers if they get their way and another terrorist atrocity occurs.

I'm betting there won't be any female lawyers sent. Illustrating the hypocrisy of the left and the lawyers perfectly of course.

What seems to be missing from the story is why are lawyers involved in Gitmo at all?
The Supreme Court's ever widening circle of power now includes the Executive's ability to run a war in a clear violation of the powers of separation.
Why Bush doesn't put a stop to this immediately is beyond me.

I have no problem with attorneys going down to the prison at Gitmo.
I take issue with allowing them to leave.

Throw them off GitMo onto cuban soil and let Castro deal with them. Since the government claims the Constitution doesn't apply because Gitmo is on Cuban territory, do you really want to give the lawyers access to Cuban courts?
Personally, I think it'd be a hoot - but then, I like consistency.

It also has issues of jurisdiction, standing, etc. When did civilian courts obtain jurisdiction over the military - especially considering that military is operating on foreign soil?
