I had a "Scientists and Engineers for LBJ" sticker on my car in 1964. How naive I was!

That probably would be best. I'm not claiming I was sane when it happened.

This member of the right is not anymore understanding of McCain because he worked for Bush -- that has absolutely no bearing on me or anyone I know. McCain's latest with the judicial stabbing in the back should make every conservative pledge to not support this backstaqbber for any office.

If he keeps getting a 100% rating from the Family Research Council, go McCain as far as I'm concerned.

As for what he personally thought of the attacks on Kerry, McCain declared: "I said when they questioned John’s service in Vietnam, it was both dishonorable and dishonest.”

More than enough reason for me to never support McCain.

That's all we need, McManchurian Candidate for President of US of A. sKerry for VP, Jane Fonda and Hollywierdskies for cabinet posts. We can all sing gumbaya and surrender to France and EUweenies if they are still around.

McCain is a democrat he is not even a rino anymore he is a democrat.

McCain voted against gay marraige constitutional amendment

McCain voted for affirmative action

McCain is pro gun control

McCain voted against energy bill

McCain voted against anwr

McCain voted against tax cuts

McCain pushes for global warming

McCain's campaign finance reform

McCain is banking on the fact that Hillary Clinton will be the nominee and some will vote for him to defeat her and the social conservative candidates will split the vote and let McCain in by winning the states with independents voting and the northeastern states.

I hate when people say McCain is a maverick but is conservative he is not conservative that is a lie. He isn't even moderate, he is a democrat.

McLame will run for President in 2008, as a Democrat, with Billary as his VP.

3 years is a long way away. But I do know that I don't support McLame now and won't in 3 years.

McCain answered: "Absolutely. I think every member of the Senate wants to be president.”

That's it. He is certifiable.

A few Senators might think about the Presidency, but why would a person give up a lifetime private barony just for a couple years under fire from all sides in public view?

I would love for McCain to run as an independent thus becoming the Ross Perot factor that keeps Hillary out of the white house.

The reality is, that to come back from the dark side is most admirable.

If McCain became the 2008 Republican nominee for President, then he can rest assure that I would not vote for him on election day.

remember guys, hes got an 83 % lifetime rating from the ACU, so he still is conserative. You guys paint him as a RINO - the RINOS are ppl like Snowe/Collins, whose ACU ratings are in the 50's. Hes got great financial and security conservative credentials. And solid social ones too. He just bucks the party line every once and a while, whats wrong with shakin up old washington sometimes. Giuliani is worse, because hes actually outside the party's thought line, being socially liberal.
