But you have no argument for the fact that we were promised our leaders would treat those who funded, or aided terrorists exactly as the terrorists themselves. I've been saying all along that those were very big words. And that has not come to pass. We didn't chase him into Pakistan because about 2/3 of that country supports Osama. And there is no way we're going to kill that many people.

In my opinion this term is taking the shape of a lame duck presidency. And Osama is just part of the reason.

If I was still in my 40s, I would work very hard to make sure that his program succeeds.

ANY SS benefits in the future depend on the will of the men and women in Congress. They can change the payout anytime they want. Wouldn't you rather not give the govt 1/3rd of the FICA tax for the next 20 years, that you are presently having taken from you.

Like I say... my future financial security will not depend on Social Security. But I think you're the one that hasn't been listening. The white house is the one saying that the proposed changes to social security will hurt a small segment of people. And I'm in that segment. I don't know the numbers, and I don't really think you do. I'm just telling you what the White House has said.

Show me the jobs Americans are "unwilling to do." I've recently built a home here in North Texas, and not a single Spanish-speaker worked on it - all were Americans. I get my grass mowed, and it's an English-speaking American that does it. Guy that comes and picks up the garbage once a week is an American. What else is there? Besides lame excuses, that is.

People of hispanic background who want to work find jobs in building trades, home services, landscaping, cleaning, child care, food service, etc.

They want to work and homeowners or business owners want to hire them. Some, if not many of them, are undocumented, or here illegally. Any children born to them here are Americans.

I'm not saying he's weak on terror. I mean certainly he's stronger on terror than the other side of the isle. But you do agree that we didnt' chase Osama into Pakistan dont' you?

Who knows for sure, maybe Osama is dead. "He's Dead Jim". I think we think he's alive. And it's difficult to imagine that we can't find him, and bring him to justice. I know we have the military might to get it done. I don't think we have the political will to get it done..... personally.

We know for a fact that Syria is aiding the terrorists in Iraq. So what's the hold up? When does this lame duck president make good on the promise?? :)

You are probably right about the White House Press people re: borders and immigration...

I doubt those people even have reason to think about it unless their favorite summer resort doesn't have enough people to serve them their lobsters this summer....

Also, I bet they are waiting for the poop to hit the fan when the MCCAIN/KENNEDY immigration refrom bill hits the floor...THEN they will have more pointed questions for the President...
