"...Americans should start swarming into Mexico and buying up property everywhere..."

Last I heard, mexico was one of several countries that won't allow foreigners to actually own land. There are tons of retirees living in Baja on leased property or with minority ownership in a cracker box.

Oh, yeah, then there is the mexican government's penchant for nationalization of private property....
Nice thought however.

How come he hasn't spoken out about the violent crack-down in Uzbekistanb or spoken about the Egyptian democratic reform movement.

President says he has, but maybe the reporter missed it travelling with Laura. Says he has called for IRC to go in and see what happened.

I haven't heard any recent news on his health, but it's been several years since he was initially diagnosed. It's even more tragic considering he was only about 60 when he got the news and I know his name was always mentioned as a contender for one of the SC Senate seats or even as a possible presidential candidate. I know that his son Mike is running for SC Lieutenant Governor in '06 and said that his father would not be able to participate in the campaign.

Bolton question: Deserves an up or down vote, disappointed by the non vote. We need to get him there to start the reform. We need to get this done.

Go Bushie! He is calm and straightforward on this, but tough.

Carl Cameron asks about on-going Bolton filibuster and what about the documents. President says he was disappointed, expected a confirmation vote. Bolton chosen because he is a no-nonsense person who can get the job done. UN is losing trust of the American people, if it hasn't already.

I think we Americans should start swarming into Mexico and buying up property everywhere.

So far as I am aware (although I'm remember from the 80s), foreigners can't buy property in Mexico. You can get a 99 year lease but you don't have the property rights they have here. It's a nice idea. They're very draconian when it comes to non-Mexicans attempting to get property, immigrate and anything along those lines. That government is shockingly and unabashedly hypocritical.

I'm glad that Carl Cameron said that the Dems were filibustering. They are trying to act like they aren't.

He's saying that the documents are just a stalling tactic. Give the man a vote!

Again, President Bush is right: "the American people are losing faith in the UN.". "the reason I picked Bolton, he's a no nonsense kind of guy".

"The intelligence committtee reviewed the NSA report...asking for more is just more stalling" "It's a stall headed for a filibuster", he said about the cloture vote".

President calls it a "stall." It's pretty obvious to me (says the President) that you can tie up about anything in the Senate.

Now a question about fertility treatments and surplus embryos.

It's a pyramid scam. Pyramid scams are fraud, and are illegal.

Good. Sounds like he's not pulling any punches on this topic.

I think the American people appreciate that he's proven to be a man of principle, a man of his word, even when it's not advantageous politically.

Piling it a little high this morning, aren't we? As CANDIDATE Gov. Bush, he said, "We've got to enforce our borders." And as President Bush, even after 9/11, he's done NOTHING except talk and playing Clintonesque word-games.
