Shouldn't that be 'stuned'?

"France's emphatic rejection of the EU constitutional treaty is a stunning blow at a time when the continent faces grave economic problems and political challenges. " OK, so the Euro has value why?

Stunned? They saw the polling leading up to this. They knew this was a strong possibility.

I've wondered that one myself.

This whole exercise in futility is just an excuse to prop up the useless fat parasite pigs in Brussels. They get to screw around for years to come, now.

In a perfect world, it should be "shunned."

Europe stunned What happened, did Hitler return?
No, even worse, the French finally found something they wouldn't surrender to; the EU constitution - even if was written under the guidance of a former French president. It's not the first time the French government has set up the rest of Europe, and it certainly won't be the last.

France's emphatic rejection of the EU constitutional treaty is a stunning blow....
That's what happens when leaders have no clue what the average citizen thinks. The Europeans are just as angry about immigration as we are, correction, as U.S. citizens are.

I didn't think French leftists would be the ones to kill that telephone book (it's something like 400 pages long) they call a constitution, but now I know I shouldn't have been surprised. It didn't give due deference to France's greatness and superiority.

Much will be said in the coming days about salutary wake-up calls, heard when Denmark and Sweden rejected euro membership and Ireland the Nice treaty.
They fail to mention they forced Ireland to vote again (and threatened to keep voting until they got the answer they wanted) ...France will vote again - - soon
