The similarities are frightening:
A Florida resident.
An unexplained event, with no one else home but the spouse.
A serious brain injury that could take years to overcome.
An order to not release medical information to other family members.
A hospice contacted in secret and a bed prepared.
A spouse with the intent to remove a feeding tube.
The differences are heartening:
A doctor finds out and informs the mom.
Lawyers stay up late to prepare an emergency motion.
A judge awards temporary guardianship to the mom.
Mom is able to devote herself full-time to caring for her grown child and getting him the best in rehabilitation.
A doctor who believes in LIFE.

ping...
I'm just pinging everyone I can think of. If you get another ping from FUE or another please don't beat me I bruise easily.
8^)
It says he indicates that his wife may have caused his injury, I wonder what he does that gives them this idea.
I pray he is saved from the fate that Terri faced.
i believe I read somewhere that the divorce issue is a possibility but I'm not 100% on that.
We have a mentally ill neighbor who was abusing her pets a few years ago and it's like pulling teeth to get animal control involved.
As far as deporting I have no idea but since there is a child that might not be the best situation.
Empire Journal broke the story and I'm not with it, totally slipped my mind to post them.
He received 3 hairline fractures on the left side of his skull. The doctors say it is more consistent with a blow than a fall. His brain was thrown to the right side of his skull and I believe one of the articles told that he had to have some fluid drained because of the injury.
Yes we need to be praying! That's why I pinged you. :^)
My prayers go up for Scott and his family. God's healing hand over Scott.
tutstar - thank you for the ping.
Blessings,
trussell
If you want on/off my prayer ping list, please let me know. All requests happily honored.
They also need to investigate this woman's life in Poland to see if there is any suspicious activity there. There might be a similar pattern of behavior.
Anyway, if she is not a legal citizen of the United States, then she should not be given custody of her husband given the suspicious circumstances. If I were this young man's mother, I would get him the heck out of Florida.
Judge Greer made spousal abuse and murder legal.
How sad about this man.
And how many others are there that we don't hear about?
I don't know enough to comment about the illegal status of the wife and deportation issues.
What does come to mind for me is that if it were my child it might not be financially possible to pick up and go. There also may be restrictions placed by the court.
thanks tr
Happy to do it...sorry I didn't get it done quicker!
I'm glad to see pictures published. Scott has a chance at recovering, if his "wife" is not allowed near him. The article also states that she is starving the dog. Has ASPCA been notified? Is she a good mother towards their son? I don't think she can be deported because of the child, but I'd sure give it a shot.
Richard Zowie's column was also a good read.
Good lord, she's starving the dog too? Remember, Mikey had the cat put down.
What is with these people? Has anyone ever heard of a thing called divorce?
Our Heavenly Father,
when You sent Jesus
into the world it was to tell us that You
would be with us always.
As we come to You with every problem, every sorrow, trouble or sickness, help us to surrender it all into Your hands.
Though we know we will not escape the
difficulties of life, nevertheless, we will have
the strength to overcome them.
We ask that You surround this Mother and child with Your Holy angels and protect them from all harm. This we ask
in Jesus' name.
Amen.
Maybe the dog "wouldn't want to live like that."
I hope that evil woman is thwarted.
Hi, there! We're supposed to have lunch!
Speaking of lunch, I know I'll get in trouble for this, but can anyone think of a more fitting punishment for people who would starve their helpless family members than to have the culprit choke to death on dinner?
Thought you might be interested ping.
