My wife, who's pregnant, discovered some spotting today. We've already suffered 1 miscarriage and definitely do not want another. Please pray for us!

LORD, please bless this couple with the birth and life of this child. I pray LORD that this child is a beacon in their lives that causes them to be more dedicated to you than they already are. I pray that this child grows up to love you with all of his or her heart. In Jesus Holy Name, Amen.

Heavenly Father, we return to thank You that You are the Author of Life and that You have graced this couple with Your Very Breath. May it be, Merciful Father, that this time of distress will in no way interfere with the growth of this precious one ... that in the fullness of time, You will call forth this beautiful baby in absolute health. Give the greatest wisdom, O God, to those who are looking after the wellbeing of mother and child ... may their care and counsel bring about joyous birth. In the Name of Jesus, we praise You, Amen ...

My heart goes out to you ... and prayers go up for protection for your wife and your little one.
I haven't read all the replies, so forgive me if someone has already mentioned this, but I urge you to check about natural progesterone. A woman's level of progesterone can decline either due to age and/or an excess of estrogen. Progesterone is needed for the embryo to attach and stay attached, and if progesterone levels aren't adequate, a woman miscarries.
My sister-in-law miscarried 5 times after her first baby until, due to her own research, she discovered this problem with progesterone and started taking it as soon as she found out she was pregnant. She has carried to full term 5 healthy babies since.
Do some research, but don't delay, and make sure it's natural (not synthetic) progesterone.
Many blessings on your family!

Thank you so much for all of your prayers! The spotting turned out to be minor, and the ultrasound today showed that all was going great. Please continue to pray for us; FReepers are the best prayer warriors!

spotting can be a normal part of pregnancy. Stressing her out by panicking can be the worst thing you can do....

We were both kind of freaked out after we lost our 1st baby to miscarriage. Thanks for the good advice!
