I guess Arlen was well enough for this interview, but not for the cloture vote on Friday

He had a chemo appointment Friday. I don't like Specter, but I give him a pass on that. You don't skip those chemo appointments.

Yes, as well as providing the military equipment to Janet Reno at Waco. The most telling rebuttal to him was when virtually every command officer said they would never support him for president. Clark as no respect from the people he served with and who know him best.

"Clark can switch, but he'll never be accepted by anyone as a Republican. "

While not a requirement, it is universal that to be a republican, you will have an IQ in triple digits.

ABC's Linda Douglas and her husband are dear, close friends of Web and Susie Hubbell.

CBS's Rita Braver is married to the Clinton lawyer Robert Barnett.

It's Doctor Juan now, don't 'cha know. I think Brit & Co are showing a little pity for Juan. Probably a good thing too. We don't want Juan to feel bad about appearing on FNS.

It's always good that Juan faithfully repeats the DNC talking points too. Just another way we know what they are each week.

The line on Clark is that he has little or no respect from his immediate peers, other generals. That says volumes right there.

I wasn't listening very closely (catching up on this thread)- - there was a Dim and Pubbie strategist on Fox & Friends within the last 1/2 hour or so. The Dim said that Bubba released info for Holbrooke and Pres Bush released info when Negropointe was nominated for the UN position, so it's not setting a precedent. The Pubbie (I've seen him on quite a few times - think his name was Rogers) said maybe Pres Bush should release the info. What no one mentioned is that while info was released - was it really 'similar' type info? And, given the situation in Lebannon and our relationship w Syria, is it in the US's interest to release this info to the Senate, knowing that Leaky Leahy or Babble-on Boxer (my new name for her ;-) will find a way to get anything out to the MSM that might hurt Bolton or Bush, regardless of national Security, foreighn policy stratergies, etc. In fact, as we know, they'll even go so far to make up or exagerate stuff. IMHO the Dims are clearly on a fishing expedition and don't need this info - - they've had hours of testimony.

Since when did requirements bother Democrats? They don't believe rules should apply to them. Rules are only for the "little people."

It's OK snugs, don't worry about it. Most people just don't know, and to be honest, because of Specter's past actions, people are rightly suspicious.

Clark had so little support that it appears even Democrats realize he's a phony and can't be trusted. And that "line" on Clark just gets longer and longer as people stand in it, waiting to vote against him.
