Reliable sources in the Saudi capital of Riyadh said Friday that King Fahd is dead, reports the Saudi Institute.

King Fahd of Saudi Arabia has been dead since late Wednesday, according to several well-placed sources in the capital Riyadh who spoke to the Saudi Institute, a pro-democracy think tank in Washington, on condition of anonymity.

A spokesman for the Saudi Institute told United Press International that the official death of the king will be announced Saturday.

There was no confirmation of a hightened security alert reported by some western media.

"Are we going to be doing the Arafat shuffle with this one, I wonder."

They are A-rabs..no need to even question. Of course they will.

When FOX news broadcast that whole mess, at first I was ticked off. Then I thought better of it and called my daughters in to witness what a pack of crazed animals look like.

Next time their school tries to teach them all this PC diversity and tolerance Bravo sierra, I'll turn on something similar and show them again.

If the Saudis wanted to hurt us, they'd simply lower their oil exports by 5 or 10%...just enough to drive prices into the $80's per barrel.

But the Saudis are fighting al qaeda inside Saudi Arabia itself, where Zarqawi and Osama Bin Laden have made several attacks (as well as attacked inside Jordan), something that seems to be completely beyond your level of intellectual comprehension.

You certainly can't satisfactorally explain why the Saudis are fighting Al Qaeda; that seems to go against your engrained biases. Heaven forbid that the truth get in the way of your limitless rants.

So feeling ballsey and chainsey (whippit - whippit good) was fairly normal? Or was he more into the big baby bottles and oversized diaper scene?

Actually, the majority of attacks inside Saudi Arabia have been on compounds which house Westerners.

The Saudi's do manage to catch a few of the attackers, but most of them somehow (~wink, wink~) get away.

Even of those jailed, mysteriously escape from jail or are pardoned.

"They call themselves royalty, but they're just a bunch of tribal morons."

Right on. Saudi Arabia is a backwards country if there ever was one. And they have the nerve to tell female soldiers defending their ungrateful selves to cover their faces.

They're "fighting" Al Qaeda because Bush tells him to make it look like he is.

They've done worse before, my friend! And listen, if the Sauds gave a wit about the good of the US economy, they'd already do what they need to do. Why are you defending, of all families, the SAUDS (I haven't seen the post you are replying to so maybe I'm missing something)? If there is an Axis of Evil, Saudi Arabia is the Epicenter of Evil.

But enough about the Saudi royal family.....

"They've done worse before, my friend!"

Indeed, but so has Japan (and we aren't at war with Japan any longer).

Those are the types of nonsensical comments expected of newbies and trolls.

What's *your* source for them?!

Exactly. In the old days, when communism and Soviet friendly Arab Socialism where a threat, the Saudis were our allies; but times have changed. A despicable country.

"Your naivete is really shocking."

Oh my, I ask for your source that might possibly support your wild-eyed claims, and the above response is the best that you can muster?!

Do try harder.

What is *your* source for your claim that President Bush ordered the Saudis to pretend to fight terrorists?

Show your source, recant your claim, or go away.

I don't like Jimmy Carter, but he was right on the money when he called the oil embargo the "moral equivalent of war". The Sauds are not our friends, they are the Epicenter of Evil USING us for our dollars. The Sauds HATE Israel and the Christians, both allied with the US, and are a snobby pack of Wahabists bent on spewing jihad into the minds of young Muslims, so they can become the next great generation of Islamo-facists.

They *might* hate Osama, but that doesn't mean they don't like what he does to us. It's like that Palestinian situation: they are surrogates who don't recieve any respect from them.

I just don't understand why you don't also see this.

Excuse me, I meant that Bush tells him to fight terrorists and the Saudis pretend to, not that Bush tells them to pretend to. I think it's undeniable that Bush has put pressure on Saudi Arabia. Saudi Arabia may have gotten tough on Al Qaeda recently, but Al Qaeda isn't the only terrorist organization out there.

http://www.factsofisrael.com/blog/archives/000025.html

Yes, these terrorist groups may be more of a threat to Israel than to the US, but the bell tolls for thee, my friend.
