Ranting Anti-Opus to Cynics and Trolls (vanity)
self | 5/27/2005 | Blurblogger

Posted on 05/27/2005 5:14:52 PM PDT by The Spirit Of Allegiance

OK--Rosen didn't get convicted in the criminal trial (civil one yet to come!) and Bolton is still blocked along with some fine judges.

BUT Hillary and the rest of her DNC and RINO ilk WILL have to answer for her/their crimes, certainly to God and, God help us, to America!

What can we do to make it happen? When all is said and done, much more is said than done. If you are one of the people who mainly post chit-chat and do little of political substance outside of FR, I rant in your general direction.

I assure you NOBODY is more ticked than I am about the Senate "compromise" deal that really is a "divide and conquer" strategy deviously used by the Democrats against those who are: (1) political whores, (2) have skeletons in their FBI files or (3) both of the above.

I assure you that NOBODY here fighting the Good Fight needs nay-sayers who see an occasional casualty and frequent flesh wounds--to think this WAR is over. This is a marathon, not a sprint. If your idea of political battle is that we can vote in an apparent majority on November 3, 2004 and then sit back and watch our team "kick donkey" across the political playing field without losses, without disappointments, without setbacks, then it's time to wake up to the INCALCULABLE resistance our team has faced and still faces against the combined resources of the Marxist-infiltrated Old Media, the Marxist-infiltrated, NARAL-controlled Democratic party, the Aztlan-friendly Open Borders types, the Islamo-friendly Axis of Evil and the absolutely anti-American ACLU/PFAW conspiracy.

I too am FURIOUS. So is Doug from Upland, Jim Robinson, Pukin Dog, Lazamataz, Southack, Mia T, JohnHuang2, Hole_N_One, Congressman BillyBob, Yaelle, 68-69TonkinGulfYachtClub, Petronski, B4its2late, Charlite, Peach, Onyx, Prairiebreeze, Mo1, Kcvl, Kristinn and the list here could go on for probably FIFTY THOUSAND more.

And there are people counting on, praying for, the success of CONSERVATISM, the preservation of AMERICA and its original ideal not just at FreeRepublic but all across America. 62 MILLION Bush voters--plus millions who believed Kerry's false promises to deliver it. And not just all these across America--but surely a BILLION all around the world--people hope and pray for the continued success of the Bush Doctrine.

Tony Snow is dedicated to helping get the truth out about Hillary, Sean has had repeat appearances of Peter Paul. Rush is all over the RINOs. Laura Ingraham skewers with ridicule. Dr. Laura preaches principles that lead to Conservatism. James Dobson has millions of listeners who pray and vote. We have an ARMY of talk radio hosts and a raft of conservative forums and myriad conservative bloggers. Glory, Glory Halleluia! The Truth Is Marching On, AND GROWING LEGS.

YES -- I am FURIOUS, that Senator Frist hasn't yet learned how to play the strongarm negotiation tactics necessary to herd the wildcat narcissists like McCain and a few of the conservative Democrats into line. (I think Frist can still redeem himself--if and only if he REALLY GETS MAD)

And yes, I'm FURIOUS that our elected employees, including President Bush, haven't taken the Constitutional Option on a roadshow and force-fed the Constitutional Option down the Donkey throats so far it comes out the other end.

I'm not calling for any true GOP heads to roll. John McCain is NOT a true GOP, he is a Trojan Horse being manipulated and/or self-gratified. I most certainly DO want McCain OUT of office and will do all I can to make it happen.

And Dirty Harry Reid is an abomination. I call for Nevada FReepers and other Conservatives to come up with a strong challenger to take this moral debris out of the Senate, next chance you get.

I call on Ohio voters to make an example of the father-son candidacy. Let RINOs tremble everywhere, for they have awakened a Conservative sleeping giant and filled us with a terrible resolve.

Senator Frist--NO MORE NICE GUY! Cut the civility, forget the Senate "traditions" and get rid of the obstructionist cancer before it kills Lady Liberty. Take some MEAN pills, go ahead. It could do wonders for your reputation, even at this late date.

Yet--we are to be angry and sin not. We are to hate the sins and love the sinners. And we are to punish evildoers consistently to drive evil from our land. And we must use our rightous indignation to spur us on to push PAST the resistance.

Remember and take heart! The signs are all around us that the Liberal stranglehold is fighting for its life, gasping for air--and yes, able to still deliver some flesh wounds like the filibustering. But there is hope. There is the Internet. There is FreeRepublic. And there is God's PROMISE that the evildoers shall be punished. And I say about these evildoers, why wait for eternity? Let's punish them at the polls (and where deserved, with prison time and yes, executions for treason) Let's NOT punish each other as we line up at the Conservative Hospital for John Kerry Purple Heart level flesh wounds in the Culture War. Let's uplift each other, focus on the positive--which in this case is how to get the TRUTH out to people and how to put out of office those who obstruct--and out of business those who enable. That is punishment that God demands be executed.

To paraphrase David, as he prepared to fight Goliath, Who are these uncircumcised heathen Democrats who dare to defy the Living God?

We are told that the "battle is NOT of flesh and blood" so how can we win if we do not turn to God? We are assured that God is not mocked. Psalms 2 and 3 are terrific rants by David and many know Psalm 2 as part of Handel's Messiah. God indeed is still sovereign. Let's pray for our leaders and work like crazy.

Let's pull together here and play as a team. We are to pray for our leaders, are we doing that? We are to humble ourselves, are we doing that? And we are to be as wise as serpents and yet as innocent as doves. Beefing here doesn't change the minds and hearts of your uninformed neighbors who voted for Kerry, deceived into empowering the Democrats to nip at our heels as we march forward in the war for America's heart, mind, soul and future. YOU are the person best able to convince people you know--of the truth. Get the news out, don't just be an info-sponge, SHARE the news with others!

Now let's get back to more productive types of FReeping, Okay?

Thanks for reading and considering and praying about this. And most importantly, calling out to God in both victory and defeat, for God hears the cry of the oppressed, the cries of the aborted, the cries of the victims of repeat criminals.

God is not mocked. Blessed is the nation whose God is the LORD.

- Blur

Well said Blurblogger. I was talking to one of our local Souther Baptist "Hellfire and Brimstone" preachers a few days ago and venting about the war against the evil in our midst. Coincidentally, his reminder that this is not a battle against flesh and blood but against the evil one himself; that we cannot win this battle on our own, refocused my efforts.

Calling upon almighty God(and bashing a few liberal heads along the way), is the only way we can emerge triumphant.

There is a certain amount of pride in thinking we are strong enough to do battle against the minions of satan. I was caught up in it myself. When all I have to do is ask for His help. It lowers the frustration level and reduces the blood pressure also ;^)

It also guarantees us a win.

A message worthy of repeating to certain people who shall remain nameless. We are all in this together, folks! Dividing ourselves into Constitution Party and regular GOP factions is what THEY want.

If we forget the spiritual aspect, we will be blindsided and surely defeated. That's why the evildoers don't want prayer or Bibles in schools and are trying to remove the Ten Commandments from public awareness.

We must stand them down, by God! Amen.

Good rant Blur. Pissed off? Mad as Hell? Yep.

In my garage, over my workbench, hangs a copy of The Constitution and the Bill of Rights. Below them is my Bible. I read my Bible first then The Bill of Rights and finally The Constitution. Nothing else matters. I will defend all three unto death.

Stay strong and stay prepared.

In my book MFN has always been a typical RINO position. For cryin' out loud, MFN for the Commies was a Clintoon program!

As I was telling him or her, MFN for the Commies is classic RINO. Ripped off from Slick. Can't get more RINO than that! - LOL.

OK, but how do we do that?

No one listens. I return the fundraising letter w/the cheesy gold cards and the pathetic address labels w/o adding a stamp and with "Not A Dime...." printed at the top of all the enclosed sheets. I get more cheesy fundraising appeals. I rant at the phone callers and have rattled several of them, but they gamely finish their spiel and call again the following the week.

I am not going to vote third party. I am not going to sit home and cede this country to the donks. The RNC sabotages conservative candidates in my state (WI) and I am stuck w/Finegold, Kohl and Kind. The GOP still has more $$ than the donks, so my donations aren't missed. My local party is not ever going to do much beyond have luncheons and maybe support our state candidates....sometimes, if it doesn't interfere w/golf and luncheons and dinners and giving themselves awards.

I am angry, but I am also dispirited. I worked my butt off last year. Everyone I know feels the same way. Judges. The border. The donks. What in hades is wrong with the GOP? What are they thinking? Are they thinking? Is there anyone here who has some insider skinny who can clue me in? I have seen W and Rove skunk the world when they have to, but I'll be damned if I can see the strategery this time. I find myself looking askance at "our team" and wondering if I have just been snookered again by some slick elites who put some grand scheme way ahead of America and could care less about any of us.

So, count me as one of the virtual 50,000 who has a business to run and a life to live and just can't quite get a handle on how I am supposed to effect change in what feels like political quicksand. But I know my business, my life and my country are all at risk right now and under the fury, I am frightened.

Given my druthers, I would like to effect a takeover of the GOP by strong fighting conservatives. But, I also don't see many people in the leadership of this party who could change a thing. Nor do I see any who give any indication of wanting to do so.

Have you tried getting involved in the Republican party? In most areas people have to be begged to become precinct chairmen.

I used to recruit county chairmen in a twenty county district. It took several years to find someone willing to serve as Republican County Chairman in a couple counties.

But when a person calls a Congressman or Senator and says "I'm the Republican county chairman of ____ county, and I need to talk to the Congressman", he doesn't simply get shifted to some teenage intern.

When a person writes a letter on letterhead that reads "CHAIRMAN, REPUBLICAN PARTY OF _____ COUNTY", he gets more than a form letter reply.

The downside? There's lots of work recruiting and training precinct chairmen, writing press releases, giving interviews, arraigning local appearances for state-wide candidates, recruiting people to run for county offices.....

It's a lot easier just to sit and complain about "those Republicans."

Yeah, I have. I was County Chair for BC04 last year. I was recruited because no one else would take the job.

Stationary? I got no stationary. Critters? Mine are all donks. Volunteers? I ended up with a handful of kids while the local Party apparatchiks were having their various luncheons and dinners and complaining they had no money and were too busy to hold a fundraiser. The one interaction I had with the guys at the top was to try and get the advance man for W to smooth the feathers he ruffled of my one and only big money donor after he was promised a personal visit, got about 50 folks together to greet the POTUS and then no one showed up and no one said a word until 48 hours after I exploded at the pro.

The GOP is ineffectual from the ground up. I begged for an organizer on the ground for months....make that about 18 months. I got the crisis team 2 days before the election and all they wanted were phone callers when no one wanted to call or be called one more fricking time. Our County Party Chair was way too busy backing Tancredo to work for W. The folks who took on the responsibility for Michels were MIA.

BTW, I run 2 businesses. The majority of the GOP honchos are retired, independantly wealthy or married women with grown kids who do not work. Most who reluctantly agreed to do one thing, screwed it up.
