A message worthy of repeating to certain people who shall remain nameless. We are all in this together, folks! Dividing ourselves into Constitution Party and regular GOP factions is what THEY want.

OK, but how do we do that?

No one listens. I return the fundraising letter w/the cheesy gold cards and the pathetic address labels w/o adding a stamp and with "Not A Dime...." printed at the top of all the enclosed sheets. I get more cheesy fundraising appeals. I rant at the phone callers and have rattled several of them, but they gamely finish their spiel and call again the following the week.

I am not going to vote third party. I am not going to sit home and cede this country to the donks. The RNC sabotages conservative candidates in my state (WI) and I am stuck w/Finegold, Kohl and Kind. The GOP still has more $$ than the donks, so my donations aren't missed. My local party is not ever going to do much beyond have luncheons and maybe support our state candidates....sometimes, if it doesn't interfere w/golf and luncheons and dinners and giving themselves awards.

I am angry, but I am also dispirited. I worked my butt off last year. Everyone I know feels the same way. Judges. The border. The donks. What in hades is wrong with the GOP? What are they thinking? Are they thinking? Is there anyone here who has some insider skinny who can clue me in? I have seen W and Rove skunk the world when they have to, but I'll be damned if I can see the strategery this time. I find myself looking askance at "our team" and wondering if I have just been snookered again by some slick elites who put some grand scheme way ahead of America and could care less about any of us.

So, count me as one of the virtual 50,000 who has a business to run and a life to live and just can't quite get a handle on how I am supposed to effect change in what feels like political quicksand. But I know my business, my life and my country are all at risk right now and under the fury, I am frightened.

Given my druthers, I would like to effect a takeover of the GOP by strong fighting conservatives. But, I also don't see many people in the leadership of this party who could change a thing. Nor do I see any who give any indication of wanting to do so.
