...And we won't back you...
I won't vote for the backstabber. Fortunately his chances for a successful bid to run for President should be about slim and none after making this deal. He might slide onto the ticket with the Hildebeast though. That wouldn't suprise me a bit.

Let's see...I'm for tax cuts, quality judges, strong borders, anti gay marriage, prayer in schools, strong defense, pro military 2nd amend. etc. etc....and SNAKE MCCAIN doesn't appeal to me, I must not be in the mainstream.
To: Chairman_December_19th_Society
He's insane.
I'll still back him over Hillary though.

McCain set us up.
Dems didn't want the fight to be over women judges - especially when one was a black woman.
Dems want a fight over the first conservative white Christian male. And McCain game them this gift on a platter. What a jerk.

The words that just came to my mind in response to McCain's statement can't be printed here. I would be banned. However, I do look forward to the day when I can deliver those words personally to McCain. As the President of a Republican Club in Arizona, I just might get that opportunity some day.

John McCain will never be president. Now you talk about his home state. His home state is, in fact, the newsroom of the New York Times. He has tremendous appeal among key demographics of columnists, journalists, editors, news anchors, network reporters, the secretary in the research department standing by the photocopier. But among Republican primary voters, he has very minimal appeal, and insofar as this deal does anything, it only weakens his appeal to Republicans.-- Mark Steyn.

Now he wants to bring the parties "together" over social Security. Which I beleive needs a compromise, but McCain is trying to steal the show.

You appeal to my hand upside your head.

You meaning McCain, of course.

I have no respect for this man anymore I don't know what he has ever done in public life, except by accident, that justified a great deal of respect.
I sure hope someone like Tim Pawlenty (R-MN) takes a run at it so conservatives have an alternative in 2008.
