QUOTE: "We [President Yudhoyono and Bush] had a very good conversation today. We talked about a variety of subjects, all aimed about making our countries more peaceful and more prosperous, and the world more peaceful. Indonesia will play a large role, and a significant role, in helping us understand that great religions should co-exist in a peaceful way."
"This is a time to celebrate the achievement of millions of Americans of Asian Pacific ancestry. Today, Asian Pacific Americans are making their mark in all walks of life, including business and politics, and education and community service, and the arts and science."
At the integrated gas/hydrogen station

Even considering the source, I found this interesting. Washington Post's take on Bush's USSC Nomination Scenarios. Excerpt: "Among those most often mentioned by insiders are Judges J. Michael Luttig and J. Harvie Wilkinson III of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 4th Circuit; John G. Roberts of the D.C. Circuit; Michael W. McConnell of the 10th Circuit; Emilio M. Garza of the 5th Circuit; former solicitor general Theodore B. Olsen [whom, the article mentions later, Bush may consider too old, at 64, as the president would want someone who could sit on the bench for 25 years]; and former deputy attorney general Larry D. Thompson. Although Bush has praised Justices Antonin Scalia and Clarence Thomas, White House advisers doubt he would elevate either to chief justice."
President Bush takes hold of the fuel nozzle from Rick Scott, Operation Safety Coordinator, during his visit to a Hydrogen Fueling Shell Service Station in Washington.
Bush removes the fuel cap off a Hydrogen powered compact vehicle
Bush talks to the media as he stands with Rick Scott, Operations and Safety Coordinator, Shell Hydrogen, L.L.C., at a D.C. Shell Station, the first integrated gasoline/hydrogen station in North America.
Wow! This is really early--and I STILL missed #1....will be waiting for the pictures.

Hi everybody!
Thanks for the daily dose!
Stimulated by severe economic troubles, which produced radical political movements such as Shays's Rebellion, and urged on by a demand for a stronger central government, a convention of delegates from the states met in the Pennsylvania State House in Philadelphia beginning this day, ostensibly to amend the Articles of Confederation. All the states except Rhode Island responded to an invitation issued by the Annapolis Convention of 1786 to send delegates. The delegates included such leading figures of the period as George Washington, who was elected to preside, James Madison, Benjamin Franklin, James Wilson, John Rutledge, Charles Pinckney, Oliver Ellsworth, and Gouverneur Morris.
