Interesting. I better forward this to the pollsters at the Star Trib who said the reverse was true.
How conveeeenient. Where was THIS poll last week?
I've been saying for months that if the Dems actually had to filibuster, they'd lose support fast. Too bad it took the GOP so long to figure out the obvious.
Everybody email this Gallup poll to the "Gang of Four" red state sell-outs and tell them there is going to be HEELLL to pay for their treachery.
Can anyone find that on Gallop's website? I tried to but only found a link for this

If this was commissioned by Newsmax, I give it the same credibility as if it was commissioned by CNN.
I'm sure FOX will be only one to report this news.
If the RNC needs polls, they need to be replaced.
Bush was given a mandate to balance the judiciary in the 2004 reelection, but the dems refuse to admit it.
Nothing here, move on. /Sacrasm on
"Only 19 percent told Gallup that Democrats were right to filibuster judicial appointments..."
Now's the time for Bush to appoint some really conservative judges. They have no public support in this exercise, and the more they filibuster, the more unpopular they'll be.
Let's make them really freak.
Did you see this man's signature?

This doesn't surprise me at all. And the fact that Robert "Sheets" Byrd actually voted today to confirm Priscilla Owens tells me that the old b@stard really thinks he's got a tough re-election fight ahead of him next year.
In that case, I hope Rehnquist will hurry up and step down. Next week is fine with me!
So I get to say "I told you so!". (OK. I guess not.)
Since the polls demand that all of Bush's nominees get an up or down vote, the Dems should immediately move for all of Bush's nominees to get an up or down vote.
After all, one of their main arguments has been that they are doing what the people want, as expressed in polls.
