Anniston School Superintendent Sammy Felton had no comment, but said the matter will be dealt with in accordance with school policy. baloney ... 'school policy' is what led to this. This teacher should file felony assault charges, and a civil claim against this child and his parents. take it to the hilt since the schools don't do anything anymore to protect teachers, teachers need to take it to court themselves.

I expect the school board will eventually pressure the teacher to not pursue charges or risk losing her job.

I know a young teacher who was head-butted in the mouth by a third grader who got mad a couple of weeks ago. The teacher and her husband couldn't believe the school did nothing to this kid. Needless to say, she's not going to teach anymore. Tsk, tsk...
*The kids name is Armageddon. How's that for living up to parental expectations?

and a civil claim against this child and his parents.Parents? I'd be surprised if the boy turned out to have more than one.
