Wonderful story. I have a "rescue" dog too, but I got him from Golden Retriever Rescue of Wisconisn. Generally I just find them on my own, but I actually applied for Max. He's just wonderful. I wish you many happy years with Oliver. Thanks for the post.

(((((((Dolly)))))))!
I was Riveted to your Wonderful Thread! Thank you so much for bringing me this Joy today! Oliver is a Wonderful Dog, a Gift and a Blessing from the Lord!
I've had several Beloved Dogs over my Life, but don't have one right now. Of course, I Love Kitties, too!!

Since I know Oliver, all I can say is this is a great story...I even learned a few things about him I didn't know before. Please tell him I'll pick up some more "doggie treats" for him later today (I see I ran out on our last run).

This might be a good thread to ping your list to.

What a lovely story, you're very good at this story telling, the design is clever also. Think you're getting that blockquote thing down. :)
Oliver is so bright and sensitive, love all that kissy kissyness about him. :)
My beagle Daisy is a rescued dog. Dutchess told her story on a Pet thread here one time, guess I need to go look for it and put the link up.
Announcement! Have this years picture of Miss America herself sniffing the wisteria, will try to post it sometime tonight!

If I hadn't already fallen in love with Giz, I think I could have been in love with Oliver.
The day I came home with lonestar, I threw up in her lap before we got here. The next morning I went into "heat." We didn't have an immediate bonding but eventually, I won!
