Terri Schiavo's estranged husband Michael wasted no time in pursuing what was left of Terri's estate after she passed away on March 31. The disabled woman died after suffering from a painful 13 day starvation and dehydration. Terri died just after 9:00 a.m. on the morning of the 31st and court papers filed with Circuit Court Judge George Greer show Michael's attorneys filed the estate request just hours later.
By 1:35 p.m., Greer had ruled in Michael's favor to receive Terri's estate.

Can we find out how large the estate was (and how big a cut George Greer got...)?
Michael Schiavo Corruption Bump!
A.A.C.
Note to Micheal shiavos future wifes: Look out! Doesn't seem like anything keeps Mikey from his $$$. He'll get it one way or another.
Michael Schiavo has said all the money he got from the lawsuit has gone for Terri's care, and that he won't see a penny upon her death. "There's no money, there's no insurance, there's about $50,000 left in her estate," Michael Schiavo said. "I will not receive a penny from this."
There is no justice in America for people like Terri.
That's why I'm wondering how big the estate really is. It may actually not be that big for all I know, or the term "estate" may also include things like the rights to her story which may in and of itself be a gold mine. Is her estate a matter of public record?
However, the Empire Journal newspaper reports that Greer's estate order had one major flaw. It erroneously declared Michael Schiavo, not Terri, died that day.
Hmmmmm....could this prophetic?
"And do not fear those who kill the body, but are unable to kill the soul; but rather fear Him who is able to destroy both soul and body in hell." Matthew 10:28
I did a thorough search and have not been able to find any documents on-line. I am sure it would include rights to her story, however.
Greer - the guy who got all those awards for his stellar work in killing Terri - couldn't even fill out Terri's estate papers correctly.
Why isn't this story going all over the media?!!!!!!!! What an outrage!
How much money are we talking here?
This should be breaking news or at least front page news! Terri got killed and robbed.
Yeah -- that know-it-all Neal Boortz assured us that there was no estate. One of the websites pointed out that Schiavo's girlfriend has a top-level job for an insurance company, and conjectured that there just might be a large policy on Terri.
Hmmm...now that Michael is legally dead, aren't Terri's parents now next of kin?
Thanks for the ping!
I have been sending this to every news outlet I can think of.

What is so critical about the estate of a woman declared indigent in order to receive medicaid that it must be probated hours after demise?
I don't know why it's not discussed. Maybe Rush or Sean on the radio will.
BTTT
Keep this bumped to the top. Michael Schiavo is a greedy dog.
Florida is one of the loosest states in the country as far as allowing assets to be sheltered from 'means' tests. Terri's assets went to near-zero too quickly to be believed. Based on the three blue chip stocks her money was invest in, her rehab fund could have grown to over 2 and a half million.
The RUSH for Greer to approve AND record this legal document for Michael's benefit just 4.5 HOURS after she died indicates there was some reason why Michael needed LEGAL powers that very same day. If we could 'follow the money' we'd likely find some assets changed account numbers that afternoon.
This legal document, addressed: "To whom it may concern" was apparently more necessary for Michael than Terri's death certificate, which took another 5 days to get completed, and 13 more days after that to get recorded.
Michael even paid an extra $5 on March 31st in order to have a photographic CERTIFIED copy of judge Greer's estate Administration letter given to him immediately.
By comparison, when Eleanor Centonze died in Michael's home on Sept 5th 2004, it took Jodi Centonze and Greer 12 days to sign and record THAT letter of Administration, and no one needed an immediate photographic certified copy of the letter. A routine copy that arrived by U.S. mail was good enough in that case.
At the bottom of page 2 of this pdf, the court clerk hints that Greer did something improper or unusual in his rush to sign Michael's formal 'Administration' document asap, on march 31st. It says:
"ADDITIONAL COMMENTS: Judge signed before clerk's review"
So Greer and Michael... why the rush?

I checked, and it looks like there have been around 400 stories from LifeNews.com posted at F.R.
And I could find no other LifeNews stories had been moved to 'bloggers'.
So did this represent some new policy of FR? or a mistake?
Or was this the actions of an admin moderator who is not Pro-Life?
