Report from Chappaqua: The "Agreement" Hillary has lost the WH, forever, and more, much more..
one man's opinion....

Posted on 05/24/2005 8:09:56 AM PDT by ken5050

The compromise deal announced last night on judicial nominations will one day prove to be the opening strike in one of the greatest political battles ever waged in this country. There is much sadness in Chappaqua, for Hillary Clinton has today realized that any remote chance she ever had a becoming president has now evaporatated forever. And the Democrat party may well be in its final states of existence, its death throes, as we know it today. Follow along, as together we peel back the layers of the political onion to unearth the truth...

I don't share your opinion of John McCain's stature in the GOP.

What happened yesterday has actually helped Hillary Clinton.

What happened yesterday has given us another Ross Perot-type, 3rd party situation...if you look at how many disgruntled Republicans there are now.

IMO this helps Hillary Clinton.

If Hillary runs against McLoon in 2008, I will vote for Hillary. And I'm not the only one who says this either; it was the topic at the coffee shop this morning here in the ol' solid south.
I KNOW where Hillary stands - on the left. McLoon stands - wherever there's a camera.

There'll be no difference at all between McInsane's picks and the EVIL's. There would be no distinguishable difference between the two thieving traitors.

The old lesser of two evils trick, that's worked for so long in the GOP, is over for good.

I think they didn't employ the nuke option because the Repubs are as lazy and corrupt as the Dems and they just want to maintain a cozy working environment so they can both concentrate on their real goal of stealing more of our money and gaining more power. From what I can see, it doesn't matter much if a Dem or a Repub are in power - they're not conservatives. I want conservatives in office, I don't give a damn about the party affiliation.

I am disgusted about the unwillingness of politicians to actually FIGHT for ANY cause or make any kind of real stand. All they can do is get up there and spew blather. This compromise is a load of crap.

If it's McCain vs Hillary, Clark, or Edwards, I go 3rd party. If it's even McCain vs John Kerry, I go 3rd party. If it's McCain vs Bill Richardson or Mark Warner, I have to keep my options open. I may split my ticket

Hell will freeze over and Bill Clinton will join the Jewish faith before I vote for McFlame. He has done as much to damage the republican party as he has done positive for it. He is severely, mentally damaged goods. I firmly believe he suffers severely from delayed stress syndrome as a result of his imprisonment in Vietnam.

This was good. If Dan Brown had written it, it would sell 1 Million copies. McCain is a dead man walking. When he opens his primary campaigns in NH and Iowa come 2008, every disgruntled party regular and movement conservative will open up on him as if he'd walked up on stage and announced Michael Moore was his running mate.

The Repubs could run a lame dog against Hilary Clinton and win. There is no way in hell that Hilary Clinton will ever be president of the United States - not in our lifetime. It just ain't gonna happen. The American people are simply not that stupid. All Hilary has to do is open her big mouth and millions of stomachs turn - people simply hate the biatch.

Note: When leading people into a great dismal swamp, remember to provide waders, shotguns for protection from the snakes and soap & showers for after the trek.

McCain is the absolute darling of the MSM.

The MSM will be powerless to criticize McCain, or take the Dems side.

You forget how quickly the MSM can change directions. As soon as it looks like McCain has the Republican nomination locked up in 2008, every network/CNN/MSNBC broadcast will be loaded up with stories of "Crazy John". Instead of "gravitas" the DNC talking point word will be "stability". They will try to burn McCain to a cinder to get Hillary elected.
