I have no objection to the Senate - I object to their clubby atmosphere and distortion of normal rules of order that allow them to ignore the business of the Country in favor of keeping their atmospherics.

Every one of them thinks he ought to be president, and not one of them is qualified by anything except an enormously inflated ego.

We would be far better off with a constitutional amendment barring senators from the presidency except by succession for 6 years, while their head shrinks back to the size of a blimp, like other politicians.
