FNC....Major Garrot.....Dems will retain filibuster in the future for 'extraordinary circumstances'.
GOP will get votes for nominees (number not determined).
This soesn't sound good.....looks like a cave to me.

I'm watching it. If the Pubbies cave they have lost access to my wallet. We'll see.
To: jern
They better not have bargained away our option to do away with the judicial filibuster for any future nominees.

I predict (again) that they know they are going to lose filibuster if they don't vote for cloture, they are not willing to lose it yet, so they are giving up for now. We'll see soon.

I never recall a compromise being necessary for Clinton or any other Democrat to get a vote on Judges.
Wait a minute! Clinton is the only Democratic president I can remember lol. Some of you old timers may have to enlighten me.
No matter what, this stinks!

Frist's office is confirming there is a "deaL" which means we have caved again!
Judicial filibuster is preserved and we have caved on some nominees.

If it's a compromise, it's bulls**t, and we lose. Period. I knew this would happen. Let's show them just how painful a payback can be.
No-Nutz Frist has had his last hoorah.

Compromise?
Yeah, right. We probably just bent over for the Democrats, considering the folks from our party who are involved in this group. "Centrists" my ass!
Anyone see Star Wars Episode III? Well this would be the perfect time for that Darth Vader sound clip: "NOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!"
Ah, screw it. 24 is on in 30 minutes anyway. No sense in fretting over this typical garbage.

This might just end my little hobby of getting involved in politics. I just don't think I have the stomach for this anymore.

RINOs run up the white flag again. Nice "leadership" on Frist's part, can't even control his own caucus.

I don't need no steenken news conference to tell me what is coming.
Bend over and lube up, we are about to be hosed again by the gutless surrender monkey RINOs we elected.
I say, I say, a pox on all their houses.
