Is that a railroad? There isn't a PC time zone.Actually, I think it is a railroad. In any rate, I don't know either- 'tis a mystery.

Compromise?
Yeah, right. We probably just bent over for the Democrats, considering the folks from our party who are involved in this group. "Centrists" my ass!
Anyone see Star Wars Episode III? Well this would be the perfect time for that Darth Vader sound clip: "NOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!"
Ah, screw it. 24 is on in 30 minutes anyway. No sense in fretting over this typical garbage.
To: jern
This might just end my little hobby of getting involved in politics. I just don't think I have the stomach for this anymore.

I wonder if the Reps needed permission---if not, then this most likely is NOT what Frist wanted..DAMN Major Garrett is now saying that Frist's office is saying there is a deal
We need to find out more information before we blame Frist though

RINOs run up the white flag again. Nice "leadership" on Frist's part, can't even control his own caucus.

The republicans better not have caved in, and had better get an up or down vote on ALL these nominees, or we're going to start our own "Not A Damn Dime" protest, and it's not going to last for just one day!!!!
To: Mo1
If there's a "deal" Frist would be IN ON IT, wouldn't HE?

I want the names of these "Centrist Senators" so I can do all I can to make sure they are voted out in their next election.

This is infinately better than what we've had for the past 13 years......... This is a face saving measure for the dems and that makes sense to me. I've been concerned about the fallout and how it would break for weeks now. This way we get what we want and no fallout. I'm confused on why this has so many folks calling for heads to roll. We win when the judges are confirmed, period.
To: SunnyD1182
I just saw that today.
If Frist does this it'll be like when Anakin stopped Windu from killing the emperor.
To: Kozak
If the Republicans have caved, I'm about to use MY nuclear option. NO support, NO money, NO nothing. Thanks McCain, you can know get more face time with your favorite liberals in the "news". If he thinks he is going to win any Republican anything, forget it!
NO MONEY, NO SUPPORT, NO NOTHING!!!

Throwing just one judge under the bus will codify 60 votes for judicial confirmations.
